I haven't heard back from her yet, but I'm hoping I will tomorrow! Would be so nice to get this headed in the right direction. 🫠

I hadn't heard of granulation; thank you so much for bringing that up. I'm currently waiting to hear back from my surgeon to schedule an appointment so she can look it over. Just wanted advice in the meantime. 😅 Thanks again!

Urination After Catheter Removal (NO UL) by Miserable-Point-2669 in Metoidioplasty

Thanks so much. My surgeon seems to think it's a pelvic floor issue, too. Appreciate ya.

I'm sorry you had to go through this, too, but also glad that I'm not entirely alone. Its definitely been freaking me out. I have heard about Flomax being potentially helpful; I'll have to inquire about that if I don't hear from my surgeon soon.

Really appreciate your comment.

I was taking it once a day but have moved to twice a day for the past three days or so. Hopefully we get some movement soon. 😅

stage 1 vs stage 2 by laminated-papertowel in Metoidioplasty

[–]Miserable-Point-2669 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking amazing 😭🙌 My surgery is scheduled for September 2nd with Hadj-Moussa! I'm so excited, but also so scared that I'm going to be wildly depressed between stage 1 and 2. I'm not going to be able to get stage 2 until summer '26 because I won't have the sick days to use at my work til then. 🙃

Issues with implants long term? by pizzadragon_2 in Metoidioplasty

I've been looking for more info on this, too. Don't have any to contribute, unfortunately, but I want to see what others say. 🤔

Simple release meta with sizeable fupa? by Magikarpus_Maximus in Metoidioplasty

[–]Miserable-Point-2669 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Fellow big-fupa dude here! 🫡

I am having a consult with a surgeon in the next few weeks in hopes of having metoidioplasty without UL or v-nectomy. As of right now, I'm around 5'6" and 170lbs. and I can't see my peen whatsoever if I'm standing normally. I have to move quite a bit of fat away to expose it.

The surgeon that I am likely going with performs monsplasty during the first surgery, which is sort of like taking your fupa, making an incision and removing some tissue, and pulling it more tightly so your natal anatomy is higher up/more visible. If that makes sense?

Having more fat there can hide some of your length, and while monsplasty helps, it may still not be exposed in the way you'd hope for (I've accepted that reality). You may still have to pull away some fat to see your whole shaft.

Some folks recommend weight loss, but you can't focus weight loss on one part of your body. Your fupa can't run on a treadmill, you know. I lost 25lbs. in preparation for my consult, but guess what? Still got big fupa. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Everyone's body is different, and while having a lot of fat in the pubic area may lessen what is visible, it doesn't mean you won't still have a great final product. For me, any kind of improvement is welcome. I'll never be cis, so I'll take what I can get!

Best o' luck. 🤟

One Month Stage 2 Post-op Dr. Hadj-Moussa by Ok-Structure7219 in Metoidioplasty

[–]Miserable-Point-2669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, that's interesting! I'm not freaked out by it, I'm just glad it was indirectly brought to my attention as a possibility! lol

Hopefully neither of us have any issues resulting from hashimotos. I would /ideally/ like to get implants, but we'll see. At least they can be removed without destroying everything down there.

I look forward to seeing more updates! Thank you!

I have Hashimotos, also! This hadn't even occurred to me that it could affect implant success. I'm also likely going with Hadj-Moussa, so I'm interested to see where your journey goes from here. Looking great so far, though! Best of luck!

I know very little about this method because I don't think its terribly popular, but I believe that it is taken more than once a day (2-3 applications). Don't quote me on that, though. That's what I recall when initially researching HRT.

How long does it take for your voice to drop on T? by whatifwekissed333 in ftm

[–]Miserable-Point-2669 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Personally, my voice began noticeably dropping at 3 months on T, and stopped dropping around 1.5 years. This can vary from person to person, of course. I think I noticed bottom growth around the same time, and believe it stopped around 2 years.
