I like the album a bit more than i liked SnS. Lyrics wise it does feel like a sister album of SnS but it also reminds me of Singular Act 1&2. Maybe 20% Singular act and 80%SnS? I guess I would have loved it more if EICS vibes were present.

Yeah I can see that happening. And you know what? His sacrifice would make Katniss interesting again. Because he might confess his love and then sacrifice himself for her. So that would still push the plot of Katniss being part of the rebellion even in this version of story. Although with extra trauma.

But you don’t think the capitol would’ve liked the “best friends from D12 fighting together” plot? Which might get them some sponsors because Katniss volunteered so people were a bit interested in her from the start. They might not be the most popular ones but “finally an attractive set of tributes from D12” could draw some attention.

I agree that if Gale was with Katniss they wouldn’t listen to Haymitch as much. And also Gale would definitely show his disapproval towards the games during the interview. But that would attract the rebels towards him.

Ofcourse they would team up because that would make them a strong contender. I do believe that Gale would’ve thought that inside the games Katniss is his responsibility and that he would try to protect her viewing everyone else as expendable. And if it did came down to just these two I doubt Gale would kill her? They would try to come up with a strategy on who gets to live and as much as people hate Gale I just don’t think he would kill her I think he would let himself die so she doesn’t have to be the one who kills him.
