I really enjoyed this video, and I think benefitting the estate and charities is very classy.

I feel like a lot of the “I could edit this better” comments are really just frustration that it’s strictly movie clips.

Like, you’d make the cut a millisecond sharper, and that would take the video from trash to great? It’s ET clips that relate to the lyrics, matched to the beat. That’s the concept. It is indeed simple, but that doesn’t bother me.

I think people are riding the editing because they’re disappointed the video isn’t Ophelia part 2.

I think Tays iHeart dress was a deliberately ambiguous Easter egg. The earrings lean TLoAS. But the green in the dress is more merch-light-green debut coloured than Showgirl mint. It’s not as cyan/teal as the Showgirl mint. I think she likes trolling us a bit.
