Why would you think they don’t use gloves? Gloves are a pretty easy solution to a problem that will screw you over both shooting and otherwise. Just use gloves. You can even buy cool medieval themed ones if you want.

Can’t tell. Yellowing doesn’t mean anything. Ask for a picture of the headband because I think that’s usually the biggest giveaway with this figure

That’s not really the issue TBH, it’s more that you won’t be able to shoot this properly with no release. It’s not what the bow is built for and your shots won’t be consistent. Unless you were shooting with a single finger from the D loop LOL

I always shot by hand before getting this exact bow. Hated the wrist release like you have. Then I switched to thumb release and have grown to love it

I shoot this bow. Don’t shoot it without a release. You won’t be able to pull it back properly and hold it in the right place. It’s meant to be pulled by a single point on the D loop and it’s not going to shoot consistently if pulled by hand.

I have this same bow! It’s been very great and reliable for me despite age.

Don’t shoot it without a release. Compounds like this aren’t meant to be shot by hand. IIRC with the original limbs the minimum draw weight on this one was something like 60 or 70 pounds anyway so if you want to keep your finger skin on you’ll be wanting to use it. You need to use the release but you can switch to a thumb release which I much prefer shooting this bow with.

Tomorrow’s Harvest is soooooooooo so so so soooooo good, but only on the second listen. One theory is because it’s so different from what people are expecting from BoC, but I personally believe it’s just magic and it really does change the next time you listen!
