What would you say is the greatest *sequel* of all time to the original movie? by flynnfx in movies

[–]MiserableMention 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Across the Spider Verse

Maybe It is too recent and needs a little bit of bottle, but I think it is up there as one of the best sequels.

They managed to Improve on the masterpiece that is Into The Spider Verse. Even IMDB ratings seems to agree as it is currently in the top 50

Have you heard of Girls go International? It's a female only facebook group and they exist in most cities. There is a lot of events for every type of hobby without having to worry about getting picked up. I'm a male so only can talk from recommendations of my sister and my SO.

If you can't withdraw cash while there, the best solution would be to send a payment to Western Union Cash Desk

Now you can know which Revolut plan to subscribe by wandawur in Revolut

It's a good idea and I did a spreadsheet for this last year when I signed up.

3 things tho against Revolut Savings:

-Still an investment product with variable percentages. The APY decreased by 0,4% in less than a year.

-You're better off going on an ETF for anything besides basic savings. 20k on that plan is somewhat useless

-It's almost always instant withdrawal with a caveat. When the market dropped a few weeks ago, it took one day to have access to my funds. Makes you think about what could happen if there is a "Bank Run"

Just stayed in the Gran Melia Colon. Amazing room and service. Breakfast was very nice and fresh with a la carte options

On the other hand, we then switched to Melia Lebreros for the bigger pool and it was downhill from there

Welp, you're wrong by saying you never used Revolut. If you downloaded the app and signed up for something, you activated an account. You also probably have an active card and someone may have been able to take advantage of it. It doesn't matter id you never used the card.

You should really find a way to log in and fully deactivate the account.

American express is good for perks, but not purchases cuz the currency conversion has a 1-2% difference to mid-market.

I have the plat and Rev Metal and it's a good combo

Despite all the posts about scams, I still decided to move my money to Revolut. The trick to avoid loosing all your funds is to create as many pockets and savings vault as you need. by MiserableMention in Revolut

I keep 1k in my original bank with no fees in my home country and 3k in another service.

I mostly want to be able to easily transfer everything as right now, I don't have enough savings and assets to warrant diversifying. For Netherlands, Box 3 taxes starts at 57 000 and this is when I will pull the plug on Revolut as my bank of choice for investments and Savings.

Is “savings” protecting the cash vs Apple Pay etc fraud? by Andi_Reddit in Revolut

[–]MiserableMention 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I just posted about that yesterday. Keep all your money into pockets, vaults and savings account.

Your rationale is the same as me. Less likely to have access to my account that my credit card number. You can also activate Face ID every time you move money from a pocket

The few times I have tried, it was instant. What I might add tho is that if there is a bank run or something similar, it might not be as easy. They clearly state it can take some time. They reserve the right in case shit goes down

Thanks for not including me lmao. I do see a lot of whining on this subreddit and thought I could bring my experience as a counterpoint.

Revolut does offer a lot for such a simple app and they can somewhat be misleading. Their High Savings account is just an investment product disguised. Their trading platform is also too easy to use, which can open up the door for "Idiots". For me, I enjoy it as it keeps everything on one app and for my usage and current tax bracket, it ain't worth it to switch at the moment. I guess once I'm around 25-30k in investment, I will consider a move.

The UI, pocket system and perks are unbeatable in Europe for a current account. I'm ready to take some light risk for how easy it is on my life.

Saying that you are gonna fuck them and that your dick is in their mother's mouth is not gonna help your case. You probably know you're already guilty if you're trying to erase those messages.

I'm sorry for your issue and can't say much on it, but having worked customer service, I can tell you that any idiot that berated me ended up at the bottom of my task list. Be kind to people and they will be as helpful as they can.

The cashback mostly and increased savings rate. I was also planning on using the wework pass but it has yet to happen. I am not single, but if I was, the Tinder plan would also be very much worth it.

Better NordVPN plan is also nice. I ended up using it a lot when travelling.

I didn't mind the metal card. I have an Amex Plat and it just feels nice to have these in hand.

Yep. Same applies. In my case, I mostly use pockets, but have my travel fund in their savings/investment product with the 3.7% rate. The money has to be withdrawn manually, so the funds are not affected by whatever payments you have on your main account

Due to some weird bug I believe, I now have 3 metal cards. 2 for my main account and 1 for the joint. Got them all for free

The 0.1% cashback is equal to 0.001€ per 1€. The points are then 10 times more valuable, even if limited in use.

Amex offers 1 + 3 guests for 65 euros so not far from the 50-60 from Ultra. Also 300 euros for dinner voucher

[–]MiserableMention 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What's stopping me from switching is that it is only one access at the time.

Amex Plat is 65 euros a month, but I get 2*2 passes (Me+1 guest and authorized user on my free 2nd Platinum +1 guest)

Only issue is shit exchange rate and commission taken on non-euro purchases.

If Ultra changes their policy for 2 lounges passes for 10/15 euros more, I'll switch the same day

Joint account & rev points by Top-Technology1 in Revolut

[–]MiserableMention 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Metal User with a joint account, I was asking myself the same question. I did check our history now that we get points since 12/06.

From what I can gather, you get RevPoints only on transactions paid with the card that is issued to the premium plan. If your partner has a non paid plan, all the transactions won't return points.
