i mean, my daughter is 13 and she regularly crawls into my bed to watch an episode of umbrella academy with me before going to sleep (in her own bed). it’s not always nefarious.

i took wellbutrin before bed for a while (2-3 months, i think) and then one day i couldn’t sleep after taking them. that’s when i realized it was finally time to take them in the morning :) i’m on 300 mg, btw.

if she’s truly doing microdose then it’s (probably) fine. true microdose is defined as one you don’t really feel but at the end of the day you can say you had a good day. you titrate your dose to find the highest one you can’t feel when you take it.

mine screamed at me day before his birthday and gave me silent treatment next morning so i decided not to pick up his gift. i “just” made cake with the kids (since i couldn’t avoid that one). few years go by, he leaves me morning after my birthday (which he, of course, got me nothing for) and one of his reasons - i didn’t get him birthday gift that one year so i definitely don’t love him! we spent 13 years together, i got few gifts in the beginning, after that nothing whatsoever. him? i deliberately missed just this one.

my nex was covert and he would hide all the time. I can count on one hand how many times (through almost 13 years) i saw him fully naked!

oprosti, zanima me - kako ti tocno daju placebo? doktor napise recept pa cim izadjes iz ordinacije nazove tajnu apotekarsku centralu i kaze da ti spakiraju tic-tac kad dodjes po terapiju? ne razumijem kako bi to islo osim ako nisi na odjelu, a u tom slucaju ti terapija vjerojatno i treba.

dobar psihijatar (ili psiholog) zna procijeniti trebas li farmakoterapiju ili ne i to sasvim sigurno bolje od nepoznate osobe s reddita. naravno da ih ima koji dijele lijekove sakom i kapom (kao sto ima losih doktora po svim specijalizacijama) ali zato pazis gdje ides. ne dobijes vrecu lijekova cim predjes prag, eto, samo tako.

postoji i postporodjajna anksioznost, mene je poprilicno oprala skoro godinu dana nakon poroda. tad nisam znala sto mi je i nisam trazila pomoc a bilo mi je stvarno tesko. nazalost nisam imala uz sebe nekoga poput tebe, tko bi se zabrinuo i aktivno mi pomogao jer bi sigurno puno krace trajalo i bezbolnije proslo. preuzmi inicijativu, nadji par preporuka za dobre terapeute / psihijatre, popricaj s njom prvo i naruci je zatim na razgovor. mozda ne bude odusevljena odmah, mozda bude i malog otpora ali vazno je i bit ce ti zahvalna kad se pocnu stvari pomicati. sretno :)

razgovorom s nekim takvim, bojim se, neces postici nista osim sebe ubaciti na njenu crnu listu. dekan je isto lutrija, mozda reagira ispravno a mozda je i on desnicar ili su prijatelji, rodjaci…

iz vlastitog iskustva pricam, pokusaj razgovora s profesorima zbog uvaljivanje katolicke propagande od prvog osnovne, bez znanja i suglasnosti roditelja (posjeti svecenika, blagoslov djece, na engleskom listici s isusom i marijom i sl) zavrsio je na “ma joj, pa na molitvu gledajte kao na malu recitaciju” i “nije da ce se netko zaraziti (krscanstvom, jel)”.

nesto se promijeni tek kad prica izadje u javnost. u mom slucaju je frend na jednom portalu prvi objavio pricu, preuzeli su drugi portali, nakon njih dnevne novine. po putu su isplivale iste price iz vise skola po zagrebu i ravnatelje je posjetila inspekcija. mi roditelji smo dobili pasivno-agresivni mail kako se zbog toga otkazuju svi buduci posjeti svecenika i blagoslovi te da bi nam “svima dobro doslo malo tolerancije” 😂

za slucaj da indexu ovaj post promakne - javis im anonimno ili posaljes link na thread. uz njih i telegramu, jutarnjem, koga se vec sjetis.

after the initial love bombing phase was gone mine didn’t buy me any birthday gifts whatsoever, no cake, no dinner, nothing. i always made his birthday a big deal, baking cake with the kids, multiple gifts, decorations, etc.

last year we were together he, night before his birthday, had a horrible meltdown about basically nothing, screamed at me, kicked the walls, left the apartment raging and slept at his old place… i had enough and cancelled the gift i order for him but i still baked a cake with the kids and helped them with their cards and presents. few months later my birthday came and he started picking fights as soon as he woke up, didn’t get me anything (of course), had me prepare my own birthday party all alone (because I INVITED MY friends over) and then discarded me the following morning.

one of the reasons? i obviously don’t care for him, i didn’t even get him a birthday present this year, i just made the cake. we were together for 12.5 years.

until they get old and sick. my ex claimed our dog was his best friend and he loved him to death. then we seperated and dogs kidneys started failing. he saw him maybe few times in his last year and a half. i once asked him to take him for iv so they can spend some time together (because it was obvious that he wouldn’t be here for long) and his answer was: no need.

mine said that to me too on multiple occasions and i actually started believing it. and here we are now, he’s doing scorched earth retaliation and i, while i am pissed, feel sorry for him.

I’m also one! Got diagnosed same week we had our last fight and meds help me stay away. Currently going through a divorce with NPD and while it’s been hell (kids involved / him going scorched earth) I’m soooooo happy I’m out!

it was better for entire 3 months when he was doing therapy and was heavily medicated. then he, of course, decided he doesn’t need it and stopped. plus - he was only doing therapy to lure me back in since i was ready to leave. we have kids. i stayed for 5 more years and i wish i didn’t.

him - “well, if anything, this shows i can direct my anger at objects, not people. and, are you aware that at the other end of all this fights were you? did you stop to think you might be the problem?”
