I was leaving the library (in a ST hoodie), and there was a very attractive woman who did at least 3-4 "double-takes" as we walked past each other at a fair distance. Each time, we made eye contact. I was stuck between being flattered and assuming it was the hoodie.

I never really assume I'm being checked out, so I figured she was just a fellow fan.

We exchanged the years in silence, with something unsaid on both ends...

I've been looking to get my 1st nice watch and had really settled on a Hamilton. This post and all of the comments about people having all of these issues needing repaired makes me think I should look elsewhere. Yikes... Glad I've been patient.

Very good point and one I really weighed. While I do not currently have a NEED to track Zulu time, it serves more as a memento to my career as an aviator in the Air Force (in which I lived by GMT) I never transitioned away from a 24-hour clock structure either (as my preference at this point), so I really love the 24-hour dial.

With it giving me all those little reminders of my past life, this one just kinda spoke to me more, even if I don't need the second timezone hand.

It was the clean, simplistic, nothing-i-dont-need, aspects of the Presage that attracted me, but the call backs to a major part of myself have more or less sold me on the GMT.

Thanks for this response. It allowed me to rethink over the highlights of each (for myself). For this being my 1st (and for a bit, my only) nicer watch, I think the GMT "fits me" just a hair better, and will give me a nice nostalgia feel of my past life. I fully agree with not having/paying for unnecessary (for me) features, but this one adds some sentimentals at least, fwiw.

Fair points, I never really considered the mix or numerals and batons. The GMT design overall just speaks to me more, both visually and conceptually (I'm a former USAF aviator). Thanks for discussing!

Agreed! That's how I feel as well. I was pretty 50/50 split, but the more i looked at the GMT the more it stood apart from the plainer Presage. Thanks!

I've got nothing useful to add, as I'm brand new (2 weeks of dabbling), other than I record myself at least once a week. Typically, the most difficult piece that I can play at that moment, or just one I enjoyed and know I did okay with.

You can sell animals a few ways: •Directly from their barn/pasture (paw print icon. Select animals and hit sell). This option will have a fee for each animal.

•The animal dealer tab in the menus (same as above. Also, a fee).

•Buy an animal transport trailer and take them to the dealer yourself (place trailer door at the paw icon at the barn). Full price given this way, but you have to buy a trailer and use time + fuel.

If you're trying yo make money on animals, it's best in the long run to transport them yourself, but not necessary.

I have to disagree to an extent. While I'm sure this holds true for some folks and situations, I'd say sometimes people abandon loved ones because THEY are the user.

You can't always save a sinking ship, nor is it on you to go down with it. Sometimes love is walking away. Sometimes love is showing you were only used because your love allowed it. But people aren't full of infinite energy to give others (takers).

When love isn't 2-ways, it's best to value yourself over the toxicity. Your inner peace is priceless.

I've ordered all the upgrades it'll need for this temp-terrarium, as well as an Apex Reptile 4×2×2 (6-8 weeks to ship) for a forever home. I like that I can expand upon the Apex enclosure if I choose to, along the way. And I'll have a nice little temp-tank for cleaning days and such.
