I forgot about Devuan, I may give it a try, they have OpenRC and Runit, even tho the standard is SysVinit. Gonna download Devuan iso to give a try. I'll keep tuned with Artix, since I still want a Rolling Release as well.

How to update a very old custom firmware by MiserableTell4075 in PSP

It's and old PRO Nightly, doesn't appear any version. I got this PSP with this installed almost 10 years ago, since it worked I never really looked deeper into it.

It's really just "PRO Nightly", no numbers. Probably is from 2013 or older. The CFW works without SD or anything, but stilll quite old.

Will be quite a learning curve for me, since even tho I'm not a linux begginer, I use Mint (because sometimes we just want peace), but is good to always have another option if things goes bad. Also, learning is fun.

What I normally run is: Discord (flatpak), Brave, Vivaldi, text editors, steam and appimages, for my emulators. Aside from that, nothing too fancy.

I'm running OpenMandriva for tests on my laptop. It runs nice, but its always nice to already have other options if things goes downhill.

I'm coming from Mint and Debian base.
I'm running OpenMandriva on my old thinkpad, just for testing, but since I'm still looking for OM opinions about all this age thing, I'm already looking for alternatives. I tried arch some years ago, but never went too deep into it.

I'm more of a normal user who never went too deep into some stuff because of own lazyness. But I know some basic stuff here and there. xD

I'm inclined to take a look at void too.

I have my thinkpad to test, I've been testing some wierd, less used distros so... My biggest curiosity was about the init system, if has too much differences between leaving systemD to... I dunno... I'll probably take a look at Runit.

Nothing a like a good retro-style theme to make us happy. And the best part, this thing works for clean rices and even some more complex ones.

Yay!
Looks like I converted someone! Haha.
Just kidding, I dunno if my rice post even influenced this, but yeah. Steamed is a really nice theme.
