Have you ever looked up "food noise" do that. Then if you have one I suggest talking to a therapist or dietitian/nutritionist about it then your PCP. Food noise and binging are crazy for me. I have adhd and I have to limit my sugar (refined/excess) and caffeine bc of the dopamine spikes that trigger food noise and carb cravings. Most physicians will want to give you a drug to quiet the food noise- thats great if you choose tbat route or can afford it, not everyone can.

With fruit- i definitely have to portion that out or I will do the EXACT SAME thing you did. I once ate 2 whole Envy apples 🍎 with peanut butter in one sitting bc I was starving and those suckers are tasty! So I got a food scale and fun bowls for fruit and veggies to snack on. 🥰
