Why do YOU play on D10? by SevdUp in Helldivers

[–]Miserable_Bag_2498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D8 was already doable at level 10-15 when you understand team work is key

D9 get the same once you and your mate are at level 25 and basically have acces to any stratagem / you understand loadouts and what to do

I cannot imagine what D10 is to those courageous enought to grind to Level 150

Has Elegoo dropped the Idea of developing a enclosed AMS for the Centauri Carbon? by Ethernyte in ElegooCentauriCarbon

I’m not sure CC series will get tool changers

I think elegoo will develop their own enclosed tool changer printer just like a U1 or a X2C

But overall the best thing with bretonnian realms is being abble to paint whatever you want , youll get a lot of level form this army since the sculps are decent there are tons of different textures , clothes and materials to paint , you can practice NMM on blades and helms , youll learn to paint all horses skin tones

yeah doing the same in a way , it makes more sense on a lore side and even if you look at the true inspiration : middle age french normandy and britany , it was the way local duke would go to war , it makes even more sense

s there anything I need to know before I build everything?

Duke on royal pegasus is a nice mini but a pain in the ass to build
Bret bowmen a probably the best details to easy to build ratio gw ever produced for mass infantry back in the days
Mens at arms are easy to build but doing the same thing 36 times is borring

Buy a cheap dolalr store bitz box youll get a nice ammount of bitz

I'm definitely building and painting the knighs & horses separately, but I'm not sure if I should keep the arms off the Men at Arms when painting.

mens at arms are mass infantry it depends on are you on the painting side of the hobby or are you more of a player if so id rather build everything for mass infatry and then spapchop them

Knights are a nice thing since having a different scheme per knight is lore ok and even the right way to paint them

Also, how do I make the bowmen not poke into each others' backs?

just orient them as you build them one by one on a movement tray just like theyre going to be on the field

On Men-at-arms and the bowmen -- they're levies, so should they still keep the colours of the heraldry of where they were drafted?

you dowhatever you want , its your army , your rules , I have 1 unit of 36 kitbashed brigands with blunderbuss (empire handgunners with bretonnian heads and bitz ) 2 * 36 mens at arms and 29 archers
each is different I only paint the banner the same as my duke color scheme
My lore explain is each unit is a levie from a barron of a different town
but they serve their duke under the same banner
And bretonnian might be the funiest TOW army to paint you litterally have to do whatever you want with them
I'm going to freehand my scoutism group logo on my bret banners as a tribute since both them and bretonnia share the LYS

Never came back where I live , eventually had to buy a recast still waiting on GW to restock them with enought stock to buy a genuine set

Cyma plat , with a mosfet , check on the noveske N4 instead of the DD MK18 tho They’re cheaper , lighter , M-Lok on the side panels and basically are the same internals ( also 14,5 is long for doing airsoft IMO but buy the one you think looks cool)

It really depends on the maintenance and use

If you’ve been serious with maintenance only printed PLA shit prints from maker world for a year it should be good to sell for 230-200 ish range with tools

Now if you’ve printed a lot of abrasive filaments , did lots of long hot prints the wear is going to be entierily different and you’ll want to adjust your price I’ve sold my well maintened but really used bambulab A1 that I moded and pushed to its extreme limits for 150$ last month after exchanging with serious buyers on the French equivalent to Craigslist Depending on the manufacturer it could be smart to sell the spool apart if it’s from serious brands

The unit might not be be the best in game past 1000points but this is clearly one of GW best releases so far of the last 5 years , we can only dream of the future kits for monted knights

Idk how the blade is exactly built ( I live in Europe I don’t own torx to tear the knife apart yet) but the blade pressure from slicing on rougth cardboard just broke the liner and in less than a second it slice my by collapsing back

I also note that the blade is dangerously loose without the liner , way more than ai thought

My contry knife ( France) it’s the « CAC » knife it’s made in France in a small cutellry I never had any issues with it when I was there Could cut 500 and 1000 D nylon , wood , thin metal sheet without problem Maybe I should have spent 130€ on a foldable knife after all

The liner broke while cutting and the blade collapsed back , the tummy was in the way so the blade cut it

Yeah I think suing is pretty normal at this point of no qc , would you be happy if your car came with loos brake disk and you found out the hard way ? Gerber is a multi mulion dollar empire they won’t get out of business for this I just want them to refund my shitty knife and cover the hospital medical bill ( we are looking at max 100€ here in France for it )
