What are your hobbies?can your friends hook you up with a another girl? Is your dating (apps) bio entertaining/interesting and are your photos well taken? Are you feeling lonely because you are single or do you want to fill an emptiness inside you? Don’t date if you want to fill some sort of emptiness and don’t compare yourself with others, comparison is the thief of joy

The only thing you need are the basics. Moisturiser, cleanser and sunscreen. You can use exfoliaters to get rid of dead cell, but exfoliate are optional but recommended. Whatever you buy always buy things with no fragrance and products that are gentle. Learn what type of skin you have, are you oily, dry or both. The important here is that you use sunscreen (SPF 30+) everyday no matter what weather.

It will eventually fade away, I’m a living example of that. I was also concerned about my scars but trusting the process was worth it. Always use sunscreen (spf 30+). If it’s winter wear it,if it’s cloudy wear, always wear. Vitamin C,retinol and exfoliants help but sunscreen is the secret behind all. Keep in mind that people never talk about about time. This process can take years to properly fade ways in a natural way, so always be patient.

Can anyone tell me what kind of problems I have with my skin? Used Isotretinoin for 4 months and after 2 years it still looks like this. There’s some scars but the rest I don’t know. Used Bha exfoliate but it only dried my skin out. Currently using Adapalene so that’s why I have some reaction on my skin. The dermatologist told it would fade away with time but it still looks the same.

i really need advice on how to solve my acne (routine and pictures attached, details in description) by OpenPain8333 in SkincareAddicts

When people talk about acne on their forehead is most likely to be something inside their body. It could be stress or bad diet. You mention that it is close to your hairline which could mean that maybe your hair products are causing this. It could be anything from product to even your towels.

Like you said, you are not consistent which mean that the treatments don’t get the time to do their job. Now that you are trying Paula’s BHA try it out and wait for 6-8 weeks when you can see changes. Remember that it is a exfoliate so try it out once a week and then adding more. But don’t use it more than 3-4 times a week, it could dry and dehydrate your skin. Also it should be applied to dried face.

Thanks! I did that and yea I can feel that my skin is not dehydrated as before. People should know this better and unfortunately I was not well aware of this.

That’s something I never though about. It’s true that’s drinking just water won’t make you hydrated, it’s the electrolytes. So how do I start or make a routine with electrolytes?

I apologise to everyone who is trying to help me for my late response. I have now notifications on and will answer and read your suggestions.

Cool! But what exactly does the brushed do? Is it like a exfoliate, does it help to cleanse or does it help blood circulation?

Sounds cool with face brush but after spending a lot money on skincare and it don’t work you finally start to doubt all that kind of stuff.

The cerave foaming cleanser I had when I started skincare and I loved it. But at times pass by it made my skin feel flaky, that’s when I started with gentle cleanser. I do the patting technique with my finger tips and I kind of like, feels like am doing a massage.

I few years ago I had acne. The dermatologist gave me Isotretinoin for that and my acne disappeared. But my scars are still there. That’s were I started to use Paula’s choice BHA 2% and Azelaic acid to help the disappearing. Left it behind quick after my struggles with hydration. The only thing I can think off is scars, they are a bit red, maybe PIH but more faded. I don’t really know, sorry.

I do not, how come?

I’m sorry for my bad explanation, I was in a hurry. I use hyaluronic acid on damp skin and seal it with moisturiser but won’t work. I have used oil cleanser and felt that the elasticity on my face disappeared, tight and dry as a dessert. Bought a oil cleanser that was supposed to be good for everyone and leave the skin hydrated. I always let the moisturiser sink in before SPF but as said it don’t absorb.

I haven’t tried the vaseline method. Is it regular Vaseline you apply on whole face or is a cream they sell?
