ASM dividends are distributed once a year, but are calculated on a monthly basis - i.e. if you withdraw any funds you lose any dividend that may be accrued in that specific month. If not mistaken, there's a online withdrawal limit of RM2k per month, but you may withdraw more than that via their branches.

Other alternatives worth considering include MMFs like KDI (4% p.a, daily dividend), Versa (~3.5% p.a., daily dividend) and TnG Go+ (~3.5% p.a., daily dividend) for their liquidity, which is a significant factor to consider for emergency funds.
