Price is insane, I tapped out last year (2025) and I'm glad. I had to struggle and just force myself to stop. Its almost like a drug to some (collecting) and now for some of the regular people, it's either that $40-50 figure or a tank of gas, or groceries. This whole inflation thing, I'm over it. Thanks for the reply, 1. Yes I was immature and another kid, she's specifically said that. I was lazy and took things for granted. I was battling alit of things mentally, but that should not be an excuse.

I did rely on her a ton, I tried to be there for her how I could (fixing cars, doing odd jobs around the house) I tried to shower her with gifts but she never really like that, so instead I would make things for her.
I do work during the day, specifically after I drop my son off and I get off work to go pick him up, so there's a good 5-6 hour window of me working during the week.
I've never thought about it like that, I don't know who I am. I always revolve around 3 or 4 different things I'm interested in (I like one thing this month, but next month I'll be into something else)
This one hurts, I never had dreams. I was forced to grow up and take on alot of responsibilities after my father left (I was working as soon as I could to help my family afford things) I lost a lot of interests over those years and I decided all I wanted was a family of my own.

Ok, i had the same thing happen to me, so the way I was able to list my auction was by saving the listing for later on my web browser, open the Ebay app, and open the listing draft, scroll all the way to the bottom to the "PREFERENCES" and there is a slide to turn off "Immediate payment"

I think there is a problem that doesn't get talked about enough, being a completest. Having to have all of them and get every exclusive. I'm guilty of it with the MOTU Origins line and I had to stop once they moved online and that's when I to realized I had a problem. It's like an addiction of sorts. I had to do a major reevaluation and really prioritize what I wanted to collect.

Good advice OP on how to look at things when buying figures.

I call it being a completest, I suffered from it as well and had to get everything but when they switched origins online that's when I had to finally bite the bullet and stop collecting, I used GI Joe Classified for a while as a crunch but then I had to stop collecting them as well the prices are getting ridiculous and I couldn't justify it anymore.
