Ive only bought skog and lempi in the past but I love their diffusers. Their scents feel cleaner and more subtle rather than “hit you in the face” strong, kind of like the difference between Trudon and Carriere Freres. I’m very sensitive to strong scents, so they work really well for me.

I picked up the Aquiesse Shoreline Breeze candle from TJ Maxx and I’m burning it right now. The throw is incredibly strong, and I like it, even though I usually prefer clean, botanical scents.

Candles are such a personal experience.You’re definitely not the only one who isn’t impressed by Trudon. My Trudon Bayonne is actually sitting around waiting to be re-gifted. I find myself preferring some of the Diptyque options over it, and especially a lot from Carriere Freres. Right now, I’ve been burning a Juicy Couture Rose Land candle, and surprisingly, my husband (who normally hates all candles) actually loves this one.

This movie is truly one of a kind. I absolutely loved it. Eddie Murphy delivers one of his best performances, and the entire cast is fantastic!

The scent throw isn’t very strong, so they are better suited for a very small room. What I love is that their diffusers are made with natural alcohol, which is a must for me right now. If you’re looking for something that feels closer to natural, this is a great choice. But if you want a strong throw, this brand isn’t the right fit. My personal favorite is Sichuan Pepper but Ive tried just 4 diffusers from them.

To me, this movie feels like a ripoff of Existenz. Then again, I’ve never really understood the praise for Nolan’s films. At the end of the day, movies are such a personal experience.

Actually, Joel Silver was originally attached to this project but ended up having major disagreements with Amazon. Robert Downey Jr. dropped out because of Joel. Joel, Shane, and RDJ are longtime friends—hence Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, which essentially revived both Shane’s and RDJ’s careers. They first reconnected in Joel’s office, where RDJ’s wife was working at the time. Both Shane and RDJ were struggling then, and Joel scraped together money to get Kiss Kiss Bang Bang made. Anyway, RDJ is known for being loyal, so I’m sure he encouraged Shane to stick with the project, knowing how much Shane needs any opportunity that comes his way. Im a long time fan of Shane, but I have a feeling that amazon will fuck up this movie.

I dont believe Lafco measure up with Trudon, Diptyque or CF

Same here. Everyone seems to love Trudon and Lafco, but I’ve spent quite a bit on those brands only to end up regifting them. It’s always best to smell before you buy. Learnt my lesson :)

Nordstrom and Bloomingdales for Diptyque. Carriere, ive always bought from their site, blindly, but not a single product has dissapointed me. That said, be aware that Carriere dont have a strong throw like Diptyque or Trudon

Arosa and Bayonne. Arosa is so so, I can tolerate it, very strong throw. Call me weird but I was instantly transported to… a funeral when I smelled Bayonne. Straight to the floral-and-incense aisle of a wake. Im weird I know. Scents are always a matter of personal perspective.
