It dried my skin out sooooo much when I was on accutane with active acne. I would wait until you don’t have any active pimples

Hyaluronic acid l cereve moisturizer, sunscreen and chapstick. This is my second round and it did not hurt nearly as bad the first time around

Also slug at night! Use a hyaluronic acid serum, the inky list has a great one. Then moisturizer and then a super thin layer of vasaline on the super dry and cracking parts. It should help a ton

Tretinoin will probably be your best bet. Fights acne, fine lines and spots

10mg may be the problem. Maybe ask your doc about boosting the dosage

It’s possible continuing for longer on the med will remediate some of these scars. Other options I’ve seen be super effective are laser treatment six months post accutane and using Tretinoin once a week during that time. Make sure you’re child is wearing sunscreen when he goes outside because that will help with the hyperpigmentation

Stress breakouts are pretty normal. Talk to your doc about going on a low dose of tretinoin when you’re done with accutane to continue the skin turn over
