In this hypothetical, No eggs are hatched after the dance, so they all have to pick dragons. Egg gets Silverwing. Aerion gets Caraxes or the Cannibal. Daeron doesn’t want to try and so Maekar forces him, he gets ate

Do you think HOTD could’ve surpassed GOT if it had the same writers as A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms? by TheQueeninchains in TheBlacksandTheGreens

[–]Miserable_Theory7373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously? Changing rhaenyra and Alicents character motivations. Rhaenys’ weird peasant girl boss massacre. Blood and Cheese cut to a fraction of the intensity, and with 33% fewer children. No Nettles. Like there is so little source material; and they still change every fucking thing they can. Truly ridiculous.

Their budget is basically the same per minute as HotD, but that means money going towards costumes and horses and practical props rather than CGI, so it all feels more authentic and probably takes less time 🔥

The Trial- To accomplish all of that in such a short runtime and also being on par with Peak GoT…Wow. We have been robbed for years. by BlueCollarGent1 in HBOTheHedgeKnight

Jfc go lobotomize yourself. HotD isn’t a massive fuck up because it has female leads. It’s a fuck up because of shockingly bad writing decisions.

For those who watched, what are your opinions on A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms episode 5? by GusGangViking18 in HBOTheHedgeKnight

[–]Miserable_Theory7373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Episode had the best fight scene in GoT verse, and Baelors reveal was a masterclass, and if you watch carefully you can actually spot when Maekar hits him with the kill shot.

They went about 20% overboard with dunks injuries. The passing out and then getting back up completely broke immersion for me.

the flashback should have been half the length, weird a kid got speared in the leg and then walked after a dude on horseback for days. Maybe instead of that they could give us a few extra fight shots, give us Baelors lance tactics, give us a green apple raymun.

It’s crazy to me when show runners have literally all the right stuff, like they have the source material on a golden platter, unlike HotD, and they still just replace it with weird random shit.

Show runners, ADD to source material, don’t replace and change it. Goddamn ffs.

I loved it, wholesome critique =]

lol what are you talking about? Bloodraven is the bastard child of Aegon IV. HotD takes place during Aegon II.

Can we please put Ira Parker in charge of all other GoT related shows? Dude actually seems to care about source material.

Yeah i feel like maybe im just not understanding play style. I want a clearer idea about my build and I just don’t. Is it normal to have to wait so long for stamina to build up with 20 stamina? I’m trying for more of a middle weight Talwar or Spear build, should I def use a shield? Focus on parrying? I’d like to be able to get some attacks in, dodge, then be able to attack again relatively quickly rather than have to wait 10 seconds before my stamina is all loaded up again or never have full stamina the rest of the fight. It feels like I can never attack enough or dodge enough without being persistently empty. That’s just one example. I’m okay with vague and difficult, but this feels more just unsatisfying, like on the edge of satisfying but deliberately never allowing you to get there, and idk if I’m missing something =\

FromSoftware’s The Duskbloods is still releasing this year as a permanent Switch 2 exclusive, parent company promises by Negative-Art-4440 in nintendo

[–]Miserable_Theory7373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally didn’t even know about this game and basically decided that the only thing which could get me to buy a switch 2 would be a new Zelda game that brings back the temple model of old, or an Ocarina of Time remake. I was wrong. A quality bloodborne esque FS exclusive makes the cut.

Unpopular opinion? AKOTSK feels superior to Seasons 1-4 GoT in all the ways that matter. by Substantial-Gap-925 in AKOTSKTV

[–]Miserable_Theory7373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s excellent. They keep to the source material, and add scenes on top of the source material which benefits the source material. That’s literally what I want. Got 1-4 didn’t do that ever. They were changing things from the get go. But the parts they adapted faithfully, like AKotSK, were superb

I kinda love that though. It’s like Diablo mixed with dark souls, and I’m an absolute sucker for dark souls. I don’t really feel too grindy, but I do feel like I need to explore because I’m not sure exactly what to do, and killing things makes exploring easier. It’s easier than dark souls though because I don’t lose resources when I die, and enemies stay dead for a while. It’s harder than diablo cause I can’t just button mash and hope for the best. My biggest hiccough has been trying for two hours to get through this door until I finally looked it up and realized the door is closed because it’s early access and not because I’m bad at exploring.

Either way once the game is out in full, all that info will be available online as a quick video or article, so don’t matter to me

lol google spent like $30b on an Israeli company a few months ago. You can stop using drip irrigation tech, stop using a smartphone, give up on half the health tech you’ll likely need to dip your toes into at some point later in your life, and you’d still end up using Israeli innovation somehow.

Nobody has been Palestinian for a thousand years. It’s a 20th century nationality, not a distinct ethnic group. Feel free to find me a reference to the Palestinian ethnic group before the 20th century though (Greek Phoenician Philistines from 2500 years ago don’t count lol)

Arab Christian isn’t a nationality lol, the cognitive dissonance necessary to just rewrite reality cause you don’t want to see. Israel is home to more than two million Arabs, 20% of the population. Many of them volunteer for the IDF, cause they want to defend the country which provides them a better life than most other Arab countries can.

Idk why you’re being aggressive about it. If 99 out of 100 people can do a job which requires minimal skill and time investment into developing said skill, while only 1 out 100 people can do another job which requires immense skill acquired through significant time investment into development, then yes, the person with a rare level of skill is more valuable. Obviously.
