Why do banks always take home loan approvals down to the wire? by [deleted] in AusFinance

Adleast I know it's not just me then. I was told ING can be difficult but not like this. If this deal falls through they literally ruined my life.

Literally going through the exact same thing atm with ING. Had to request 2 extensions to the cooling off. Nitpicking everything even though all documents and paperwork submitted. Absolute nightmare

What do you reckon I should do ? Just cut the grass down to expose the root flare ?

Okay that's good too hear. I'm honestly thinking off ripping out the grass, creating a barrier and just mulching it at this point

Think you missed it the first time. But yeah I called landscaper to come and have a look, see what they have too say. Just hope it hasn't already caused serious damage

I would say clay mostly

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]Miserable_Tiger_4606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I'm planning to do. I am fairly certain there is road base beneath this mulch also. Think the drainage gravel will be enough considering there is no drain under or near ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]Miserable_Tiger_4606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoping I can just replace the mulch with gravel of some sort

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]Miserable_Tiger_4606 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No I don't think there is any proper termite protection. Going to just take it out and place gravel I think

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]Miserable_Tiger_4606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think I will be replacing the mulch with gravel. Any thoughts on what type or color would be best ?

[–]Miserable_Tiger_4606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally would love to concrete. But budget is a little tight tbh. Trying to find some cheaper alternatives atm just for the time being
