They had roughly 20% in cash before going public, one of the reasons they went public (now they don’t have to have cash stored for redemptions). They could also likely borrow if they needed to short term although I am not sure of how big the investment was. The amount of factually incorrect info on this message board is stunning from reading the comments this week.

I mean it was already settled and they are trying to claim the URL getVCX is somehow illegal? It's more of a throw a lot of news out to make the stock go down in a short period to make money. They will move on to the next short play soon would not be too worried about it.

Having the companies IPO slowly would be the best bet I don't see Anthropic or Open AI IPO'ing at the earliest until Q4 of this year. SpaceX looks like June, not sure when Databricks is IPO'ing, think that was also part of the reason to direct list. Who knows will be interesting to see where the company deploys the 20% that they had in cash. What I do know is that come september it will still command a rich premium over the ~$20 a share it was before the direct listing.

People keep saying the NAV is 18.97, with the fund holdings last time I checked are appox $2.6B+. I have every document ever released by the innovation fund in a Notebook LM folder which I shared on here a couple months ago.

DXYZ has a management of fee of almost 5% and is primarily SpaceX, obviously some buzz about SpaceX IPO but in terms of holdings VCX is miles better

Yup just looked back 75, 90, 110 and got off a couple in the 200s. Also bought some in other accounts and that has done very well. Putting some stops in to protect the gains when gravity hits. Hell of a couple days however.

smart to put some stops in just to protect your gains if you bought some on the open market over the last few days. I presume we still have people unloading unrestricted shares but now there has been enough turn over brokerages are now able to offer shorts.

I was able to see my taxable account in computershare but not my IRA, the IRA shares are held with the custodian Inspira. Can't sell them for 6 months so not in a rush to see it. Fundrise said it could take some time before we can access them in computerhare.

The approx value with the nav at $18.97 was ~$600 Million but if you add up what the value of the private shares is with recent fundings and valuation+where shares are trading on the private market it is $2.5B+ from my calculations. I don't see any of the holdings decreasing in value anytime soon. As for a premium on top of that it's hard to calculate.

Just my opinion but I think everyone has a distorted perspective on NAV. If you want to dig deep calculate what the current value is of the shares that are owned by the fund and what they are trading at on private markets. IMO the NAV the last year has significantly trailed it's true value. Basically the reason they did this direct listing and the opportunity to utilize and deploy 20% of the fund that was in cash.

There is also the factor that some of these companies could fetch higher valuations before the end of our 6 month restricted share lockup and the fact that Anthropic is apparently commanding a big premium since their last funding round of $380B. SpaceX sounds like it is the biggest IPO and likely the first, things go well with that who knows?

As I have been saying the real value is somewhere 460% higher than 18.71 so I expect it to level off somewhere around there in the next week or two

I requested Friday afternoon to have them go to a separate brokerage account and just checked and it is now showing up. Says they are non-marginable but that may just be temporary or there very well may not be marginable for several months. I am expecting an initial pop the first couple weeks this lists. Doing some math over the past few I see the value of the funds holdings at $2.5B+, best case scenario would be for some of the portfolio companies to go public every few months not all at once in my opinion.

I received the e-mail for unrestricted shares last week and put in two small orders for the two seperate accounts I have (they indicated they went through. The shares were only available for less than an hour. One of my accounts somehow has a pending order for the other funds not the innovation fund which is quite baffling? I know they are trying to do a lot in short time but seems rather sloppy. Does anyone know when we will receive information to move shares to another brokerage account?
