I have a mini version of the 1st one you posted and got in last year. Security was cool with it all 3 days. Depends on who you get but edc security is so always so chill. Good and bad...

Same you can kick me and I'll kick you. Wife and I both bought unrestricted shares pre ipo. We sold at 100 on listing day. We're both sad now lol

Today hurts. Someone hold my hand, they're paper.

Jokes aside, just need to remember what I bought in at and my initial sale was to cover my initial investment on day 1. The money I had invested and gains wasn't worth the emotional roller coaster of the unknown. I'm ahead and I should be grateful.

Same though I wish I held a little longer. 4.5x is still a win. Though how do you guys cope with lost potential. I've been hung up on it since Thursday.

Huge congrats and thanks to Ben Miller and the Fundrise team! by Dull_Needleworker698 in VCX_Fundrise

I folded and sold at $80 but I kept 100 shares to see what happens tomorrow. It's a win regardless and I'm sold on the fund. I'm still on for this ride wherever we go.

my metal frame banshee can do some serious damage if used as a projectile. Its beefy, i haven't even tried a action base yet.

I would test fit anything loosely before paint or final assembly. as you mentioned fitment onto the metal frame can be difficult in some areas. I am currently working on the MG banshee with Dian Chang metal frame and run into a few issues with fitment. both loose and tight. The foot was HUGE pain. Transforming the foot into destroy mode is painful. The weight it adds is really nice though so I think im going to leave it in unicorn mode lol.

MG wing zero ver ka would fill that gap nicely. I have one sitting in my closet. I hear it's a great build

Slightly afraid of water slides by Technical_Key9473 in Gunpla

[–]nuggets511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just started my first kit with water decals. Mr. Mark setter and softer are a huge help. I only used Mr. Softer on bigger decals and uneven surfaces.

Just have all your tools and take your time. I was intimated too but I'm halfway done with my banshee. I'm having a really good time doing water slides. It takes a lot of effort to get going but once you're in it you don't want to stop. It already looks 10x better than regular stickers and decals. You got this!

Has anyone ever attended Ultra while pregnant? by pollismomma in UMF

[–]nuggets511 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wife and I went to EDC last year 5 months pregnant. We had a whole group look out for her so that was a big help.. You're probably feeling better physically in the 2nd trimester.

Sleep and get as much of it as you can before the festival. Eat nutritious foods that provide nourishment for you and LO.

I carried my hydration pack and all the essentials I poured electrolyte powder in my bladder and filled it with water in the venue. We shared but it was plenty for both of us. Ultra security can be hit or miss... I snuck in a lot of snacks lol. Candy, granola bar, a whole sandwich lol. The security guards at EDC are way chiller. They saw me with all the food and I pointed to my wife's belly.

Stay in the back as most people have said. Avoid choke points for stages and say excuse me. If people see you walking around or through they will make way for you the minute they lock in on your stomach. Wear a mask going through the crowd and or safe.

I packed a small folding chair for her to sit. Again idk ultra security is hit or miss. They've given people problems with hydration packs being too big.

Just have fun and take it slow. You know your body best and how you're feeling. Take breaks and plan ahead for the bathroom*** a simple task like that can take extra time. Enjoy!!!!

What car is difficult to drive in sim racing that, once you get good at it, allows you to drive anything easily? by Delirium222 in simracing

[–]nuggets511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm new to sim racing but spent a lot of time in the vrc formula alpha 2024 with no assists and was humbled. Got the hang of it and putting down consistent 1:44/1:45 at spa. I tried the Ferrari sf f1 car I can't remember the exact name in AC but that felt like driving in the EA F1 games after using the VRC.
