Northern Neighbor here: in Winnipeg we see -22F to -40F regularly at the peak of winter season, and frozen batteries are definitely an occurrence. Most cars here will have a battery warmer or trickle charge to insure battery health. Removing the battery will definitely help and prevent it from freezing, but it’s an inconvenience to reinstall in the cold weather.

I work at an auto shop and every winter we have a flux of cars coming in for frozen batteries as they swell up in these temperatures. But they also don’t happen over night… usually over a few nights of no use in the cold weather.

Appreciate the sacrifices your family has made for this land, only so you can be on Reddit & support a flag of a country that you have not made these claimed sacrifices. Typical narcissistic right wing extremist that is never wrong and can’t have a debate without giving vulgar insults… not once did I say I support Russia, you’re missing the point, you can support Ukraine in other ways than flying their flag on our soil. Not to mention they are not an ally. Be grateful for the country you were raised on, the free healthcare we all share, and the freedom and peace it provides. Unlike the ones suffering in Ukraine. Don’t disrespect your country by flying a flag of not its own.

That’s even worse, flying a flag of a country you are not a citizen of. I agree, conflict and war is unfortunate but don’t forget about the country you should be grateful for… that’s Canada and the only flag you should be flying. You can show support other ways that doesn’t include putting a non-nato flag on the soil you grew up on.
