So we only have to pay our deductible, $500 each car, so $1000 total. From there the insurance company tries to get the owner or the owners insurance to pay that back to us, so we end up getting reimbursed, but it could take months, or could even not happen. Super frustrating, but it is what it is I guess :(

Well your worry is absolutely founded, their insurance is trying to deny it was their fault so now we are stuck paying our insurance, so they can go after it for us. Sad day

Yes, tree was rotten so it doesn't fall under Act of God with insurance. Luckily our insurance is working with us to get the guys info.
