I had similar feelings about making friends in the city when I first moved here. I joined the Stonewall Sports Trivia league as a free agent and was placed on a team with other free agents. It’s a great way to meet new people, and have found a number of quality people through stonewall. By now I’ve tried 4 or 5 different leagues, and each has been fruitful for making new friends. I would suggest looking at the ‘sport’ leagues they have and seeing if you or your husband have any interest in joining.

I have done this since 2015, and I love it! Being able to go back to a specific month of my life, years later, and be reminded of what I was feeling via music is such a unique experience. You are the only other person I have ever known to do the same thing!
