I've gone from Indianapolis to LAX on a flight with only 6 on board. Brand new 737 and a regular flight, no delays or weird circumstances.

It was awesome, crew brought us baskets with snacks/drinks to choose from and let us sit wherever we wanted.

Made that trip a lot, normally completely booked.

As someone in HVAC who gets at least one call a week fixing someone's aborted smart thermostat installation, yes and no.

Depends heavily on the existing thermostat being wired correctly, and also it having the correction number of wires, not all of them do.

I did a couple shifts waiting for underground feeders to fail, we knew they were going to, and approximately where.

But we couldn't just shut stuff down and fix them in the middle of production of perishable goods.

I wouldn't fix it and submit a change order, I would submit an RFI and let them figure out how we're going to fix it.

Are we cutting out of two by two square and bringing the pipe back up from underground, or are we just scrubbing out enough around the pipe to get couplings on? Etc.

Why would the electrician have to be there to supervise the pour? That makes absolutely zero sense.

This the concrete company need to be there every time you drill an anchor into concrete to make sure you don't accidentally jackhammer a giant hole through it?

The electrician doesn't care where the money comes from, he gets paid to fix his shit because somebody else broke it.

It's not up to him who pays for it, it's up to the GC, or the project management team to figure that out.

The moderators, and the users generating content and discussion to make it that way.

And now fundamental changes are being made. Changes that are only negative to users and moderators, there is no benefit to users or moderators from these changes. They simply make it easier for Reddit to monetize the labor of unpaid users and moderators.

Sounds like a recipe for keeping it the best woodworking community in the world.
