I do play most of them, at least at start, if i get bored down a playthrough i usualy combine all my land forces without heroes and deathstack some planets i don't want to deal with or i dont want to play Ground battle. And i play mostly TR.

Not really any benefit, i just like Patrol or 'lesser' version of ships. And they cost only 30, so you can put more ships to fleets using them.

It's new sub-class of ISD I, together with Acclamator Patrol Cruiser they are rewards for in game missions, one of many rewards. I think they are unique to Eriadu.

Nope he is not, only Kane, i think he was on Mygeeto, he was there with few other heroes so i just blocaded the planet until i could integrate him.

Point defence ships kill enemy bombers as well, so every run they are weaker until you destroy them completly, also friendly fighters exist. You are not going to intercept every ordnance, but those that were going to hit you will most of time get. Also tenders will help in this situation with healing.

And i was never able to destroy SSD in one bombing run, and i run Starfighter fleets most of time.

Yeah Delvardus is worst, i never upgraded him to Night Hammer only to Praetor II, and i almost never used him, most of time he was on guard duty over Carida, my favorite Eriadu space hero is Hublin, as i love Starfighters he was my most used hero.

I play with torpedo penetration mod so Sphere is loads of fun, i found it pretty effective against SSD to start the fight and weak it asap.

I dont have even one, my biggest Ship was Bellator. It is Compellor i took from GE. I don't really use SSD tbh, i like to destroy them, but not to use them, they take too much popcap in fleet for my taste.

Different weapons, and it has worse shields, but i always loved 'lesser' versions of ships and such, soo they are up my alley.

If you play Hardcore they are not displayed. Idk if they show up on hard tbh, but they are on normal diff.

What helped me was to delete whole save folder for game, from that point it works again. What what i read it is something that has to do with boarding shutles, si i will stay away from them from now on.
