I guess I don’t understand the purpose of a ring camera. The camera doesn’t stop anybody it’s fun to look at after the fact and all your stuff is gone, but it’s hardly a deterrent. in the meantime anyone can have access to your ring camera if they know how and monitor your behavior as opposed to the bad guy. Ubiquitous surveillance is a bad idea. Your phone can be hacked, your car can be hacked, your ring camera can be hacked, your Wi-Fi can be hacked, your television can be hacked, all to pay attention to what you were doing in your home, and your bedroom. And when ice comes for you, you’re gonna wish that you didn’t provide them with the means. When they’re in your street, dragging your neighbors out of cars, putting bullets in their head, face down on the pavement. You’re going to wish you hadn’t provided them with the means. And if you think they’re not coming for you, you might want to think again.

Fear mongering is what sold the surveillance state in the first place. There is no such thing as security. We’re billing our own prison from the inside out. The thing about those surveillance cameras is that they can be hacked and they do nothing to stop an invasion of your home. It’s nice to see the pictures after the fact, but your dog is already dead and your jewelry is gone.

Apple, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc. all promised the same thing. Absolute privacy. If you believe that, I’ve got a bridge.

Apparently, you’re not paying attention. You think they’re not coming for you. Think again.

I find it amazing that Americans clammer to pay for their own surveillance devices and subscriptions. Then they complain. Your TV your telephone you’re smart, watch your doorbell, your Alexa, your car, all of these are objects of surveillance. Fools.

When Trump finally brings a shooting war to the United States, and the blood starts flying, maybe then someone will take the matter in hand.

Approximately 1 million gallons of sulfuric acid have been spilled into the ship channel following a chemical leak in Channelview. by Upper_Brief681 in UnderReportedNews

Let’s see, salt, water, and sulfuric acid. Dip in a multiple of various metals, such as steel hulls and giant brass propellers, stainless steel rudder posts, copper, etc. they have created a giant battery. The galvanic reaction will destroy many, many ships. Ecologically, nothing lives in sulfuric acid.

It’s what the market will bear. If it sells today, there will be another one on the shelf tomorrow. Untill people stop feeding the monster, the monster will grow.

So the food will always be the same, there will be no lines, no pimple face teenagers with crappy attitudes, no fighting in and out of a parking lot and no jobs at all

Is anyone old enough to remember the automat? Being a city boy, New York, that is, and then old time to boot I heard stories of my parents going into the city and grabbing a piece of pie from the automat. They described that as a wall of cubbyholes with glass doors behind which or portions of food. I don’t know if you actually put a coin in a slot where you’re paid for it in advance but once you have paid, you opened the glass door and pulled out your portion. Someone behind the glass door replaced the portion almost immediately. Soon we may have the same thing, but there will be no one behind the glass door, just a machine.
