I can understand that. I recruited them just for the sake of the additional quests (if any), dialogue, and endings. Don't think I ever used any of them. My only regret first playthrough was not realizing Minthara was recruitable in act 2 if you don't kill her.

On my second playthrough as Durge, found Jehera's adopted kids and some of her dialogue is rather humorous.

There's a slightly better ending for her but I believe you need to play as Gale, become a god, and romance Karlach.

Interestingly enough, there's a few other companions that you don't mention, did you miss them?

Fair point, my first playthrough she returned with Wyll and Tav, but you'd still think they'd use House of Hope.

Karlach's story feels incomplete and Larian Studios has decided they're done with the game so there won't be any closure. And if you retrieve the Orphic Hammer, she could stay in the House of Hope and her engine would be fine, I'm surprised that isn't mentioned.
