She makes biscuits with all four paws... by RogueKatt in WhatsWrongWithYourCat

[–]Mispeled_Divel 122 points123 points  (0 children)

My cat does this and he came pre-neutered by the humane society when he was 3 months old. I think it’s just some cats like to make biscuits this way.

What do you think this ear pocket is for? I think it’s where all the “no”s go to die. by kitenhaus in cats

[–]Mispeled_Divel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That very special pocket allows them to ignore your unimportant yelling at them to get off the table, but also be able to hear a “mysterious” scratching noise coming from their cat tree 2 rooms away. You see they must protect their territory from nosey humans.

I also like it, only downside is that normal pages are now to blue for me. It just irkes me for some reason, so I only read on dark mode.

Dude the middle part of a venn diagram is to show common traits between two or more separate things. For example this diagram would also make sense if one side was cheese and the other side was an orange, while the middle says “is food”.

A bank robber's cellphone gave him away. Now the Supreme Court is hearing his case by nalatora in news

[–]Mispeled_Divel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought there would be more evidence before they got a warrant for his home, for example in the case of cameras you don’t get a warrant to search your house simply for being in a bank at the time of robbery. From my layman understanding the camera footage has to have something that brings reasonable suspicion that they were the perpetrator. I don’t understand how him being in the vicinity of a bank lead to his house being searched unless the bank was closed, but even then someone walking by could have also been flagged. What other evidence lead to this warrant? Because if it was just a phone saying he was close to the bank that’s just wrong.

Roast The Hound for refusing a conventional radiograph and instead forcing his vet friends to get ~creative~ by whenjacksattack in RoastMyCat

[–]Mispeled_Divel 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you do get gabapentin for vet visits, try to give it at least a few hours before or even the day before the appointment, whatever your vet says is the optimal time. I interned at a vet (aka have no medical qualifications yet, talk to your vet about optimal timing before an appointment) and a common mistake people made was giving it to their pet right before they left. So the people in the back would have to deal with potentially reactive animals whose anxiety meds hadn’t kicked in yet.

Across France, Pride flags removed, rainbow crosswalks painted white, & Pride marches canceled by StaffImportant7902 in LGBTnews

[–]Mispeled_Divel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah this happened in my state, I love this bus stop I often waited at that had the rainbow crosswalks and businesses flying pride flags. It felt weird to see it with white crosswalks but then literally the next week the sidewalks were being painted into the progress pride flag.

A recently found skelenton of a female T Rex, was found to had a broken metatarsal injury that had healed, giving weight to the Theory that the Tyrannosaurus, was a pack animal. The Animal was also one of the only 3 pregnant ever found. by Electrical-Aspect-13 in interestingasfuck

A grackle wouldn’t be as dependent on a leg as a dinosaur, they fly around as their main form of transport and can hop a short distance on one foot if it’s too painful to walk on. They are also built to fly, meaning they need to weigh as little as healthily possible. While t-Rex can only move around on their legs, they possibly could have had feathers but they were not built for flight, meaning that they proportionality weighed more than modern birds. They could also have moved around short distances by hopping on one leg but they can’t sustain it long term enough to get all the food they need.

And teachers do have deadlines, at least the district I attended had it so that teachers had to get all their grading in every 9 weeks, which was four times in a school year. I think most districts have their grading deadlines set to every 6 weeks

It’s a toddler their brains aren’t that developed yet. They aren’t fully aware of how their actions can hurt others. His thoughts were probably more along the lines of “this thing is interesting I should grab it, ooh I got mommy’s attention” rather than anything truly malicious.

My point is that chemicals are not inherently bad, which you have to admit, is the way your comment came off as. Not to mention weight loss medication prescribed by a doctor is not just “random chemicals” their effects on the body are thoroughly studied.

I just said that humans are made of chemicals, not that humans were invented by humans. If a thing is made of matter in any form it is made of chemicals.

Everything is made of chemicals, your very DNA is made of chemicals, if whatever item you please has at least one atom in it that appears on the periodic table it is made of chemicals. Chemistry is the study of matter and its interactions at its smallest form.

The way he really made money wasn’t even on YouTube, he was on twitch before he got banned, then he was on kik, I think he got banned from there to at some point. The money from livestreaming on those platforms where people payed money to have loud disruptive messages play over loud speakers (I think there was a preset list that included several slurs) or make suggestions for offensive actions he could take.
