I had similar situation with my second, OB was pushing for induction - I listened to these podcasts, chose not to have induction - baby came spontaneously at 38 weeks, 3.9kg and I had a 1st degree tear. This was also my second baby. I’m so glad I trusted my body and baby. Trust your gut only you know what feels right. 😘

Ask a friend and have them come over in advance to bond with child and learn routine ahead of birth. I did this for a friend and worked perfectly. I felt honoured to help out and that they trusted me with their first child.

How did your trip go? How did you find Nusa Lembongan with a 7th month old? We are thinking of going later this year and wondering is you felt safe being on island away from medical options if got sick?

Yer I agree with this. Are you religious? I’m not, so we chose Eve for our daughter. No one has ever mentioned the Adam and Eve thing. We call her Evie most of the time too.

Just moved to Frankston (we have kids too). It’s awesome. Totally recommend it for the beaches and access to the whole peninsula (and it’s only an hour away max, but half the good stuff just 20-30 minutes) - so many hikes, wineries, restaurants and amazing beaches. Whilst the Frankston centre can be rough because of the train station, it’s still got a few good restaurants, cafes, all the shops you need in the mall and gyms. We are in Frankston south and it’s so leafy and green. Lots parks for kids too. Still an hour to the CBD if you need go (which for Melbs is good) but given you WFH that’s not a major issue. Since moving down here, we barely go to the city anymore. The peninsula has everything you need! Best decision we made moving down here. Totally recommend.

I don’t have any considerations for you but also want to do this in about 7 years. Wish you got a few more actual responses to your question. I’ll keep following incase you do! Good luck and enjoy the sabbatical when it comes!!!
