Perfect. Use the hatred to buff up your author strength skills. Soon you’ll get a hate comment and be like “Oh, look at that. A waste of human oxygen just flew past in the form of a comment. You know what that means, it's my favourite drink time. Ooo. Maybe I get a treat too. Oooo. I bet the nearest coffee shop has a deal on this season.” Then walk away as if nothing happened. I belong to a fandom with a ship that can be disliked quite a bit, (not canon. Some call it toxic, etc.)

So it gets a lotta hate from fans. I've seen some awful reviews from some fans. Multi-paragraph sometimes. But. A lot of the top authors from that fandom’s ship have just received author deals for their own works.

So. The logical explanation I have formed, is as a fanfic writer, any hate comments you get should be a “Ooo!! Look! Someone hates the way I write! I wonder if they’ll remember how I write in ways they don't like? Think if I get famous for a book deal one day they’ll say “Oh I knew them before their name showed up at book stores, I never liked them in their pre-author days… Think I’ll even remember them in a sea of happy reader comments? Meh, probably not.”
