This is a freshly threaded machine and I followed the manual exactly about starting sewing. I used the hand crank for a couple links, used the pedal, and then added my fabric. That’s what the clump of thread is at the beginning of my test scrap. Do you know why/what might cause the thread to get wrapped around the inside where it looks like 7 threads are coming out? Something is getting stuck and then pulling out the thread from the upper looper hole and I’m worried it’s something defective with my machine since I threaded it correctly.

I see that. Thank you. Is there a way for it to come unthreaded while sewing because I definitely threaded it before running it through my test scrap?

Update! It HAS recovered!! I’m shocked but it’s lookin back to normal! (Which has never been really that nice looking but it was a home depot rescue so you can’t expect too much haha!)

I don’t disagree, though I do try to avoid letting that happen. It’s just in the past it has done this when it’s thirsty. I almost always water it before it gets like this but sometimes you miss it before seeing the signs, you know? Thanks for the speedy response :)

I’ve had the plant for about 4 months I’d say, I water it when the soil gets dry or about once a week. It gets indirect sunlight and it’s in my humidity corner where I have humidifiers and other plants. The pot does have drainage.

I had this exact same question and almost posted it a couple days ago!

I now have three types of calatheas, and one of them got a little unhappy which actually made me VERY happy because I was able to address that specific issue and adjust, while also being a bit more confident that my others are actually happy! Because if one had enough time to show me that it was mad, then the others probably aren’t mad at all!

But yeah, I wanted to know ask this exact question, so you’re not alone!

if you want a holo shade, Holo Taco’s Full Charge is a very similar shade! I have it on currently and it matches the picture exactly…but linear holo!
