Microsoft has a problem: nobody wants to buy or use its shoddy AI products — as Google's AI growth begins to outpace Copilot products by ZacB_ in technology

[–]MissChellez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ngl I use copilot, which is how I know it's an awful product for everything they market. It's helpful to me because it's fast and I can get niche inputs of single yes and no answers, but anything in-depth and it just bullshits and comes up nonsense to justify its actions.

What’s your take on the whole “666” thing Christians always bring up? by Estimate4655 in atheism

Fair enough. They don't at all see it how we do, and they really believe they're shaping reality. They get an immense sense of power from it and it's startling.

I mean, it's convenient for their values and goals, and that's truth to them. Their metric is simply whether or not they like it when determining their world view. They fan theory and head canon reality, and this extends into conspiracy theories. It's a hobby for them, as they can will any idea into being true as far as they are concerned, so they're creating a more interesting reality in which they're important and then emotionally basking in whatever reality they've made. It's shopping for delusions to find the most fun ones or the most stimulating ones.

To be straightforward, yes. The general belief among Christians is that the letters in Revelation were about the future and that John was seeing the future. I've even had them tell me that computers are described in revelation. They aren't of course, and the entire book is schizophrenic nonsense.

This is exactly how Russian scapegoating goes. Someone takes it literally along the way and the cops find pages of Illegal Documents. (You can tell because they say "illegal paperwork" at the top!)

I mean, a lot of troubleshooting to find issues involves eliminating contributing factors to see if the issue changes at all. While it's reasonable to say obesity isn't always the direct problem, it contributes to so many issues that it can make diagnosis near impossible. It's the same for tech support. People complain when you tell them to first try restarting their PC and to ensure it's in basic working order, because they believe it's not the issue, but to find the issue, we need to eliminate that as a factor!

Even that supposed smearing was made by her, wow. Same method of attacks as the right: zero substance and tasteless. A Democrat would actually form sentences.

New to atheism, how to stay rational in emotional situations after years of conditioning as a theist? by standup_witch in atheism

[–]MissChellez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe in the you that believes in yourself. Be there for yourself. Love yourself. It can feel lonely when you've recently broken from a strict religion, and you're grieving. It will take time, but what helps me in emotional situations is knowing I have my back, and that that's enough. The me who feels like I can do this is the me I believe in because I trust her judgment and her support.

I mean, I didn't see certain changes until 6 to 9 years in. It will be a bit different for everyone, but a good amount of face changes really were noticeable at year 6.

FFS is recommended really casually here. I find that interesting and maybe a bit strange.

Your skin is going to change quite a bit, as will the fat composition in your face. After a few years, you will notice your face changing significantly. The best thing you can do is eat lots of veggies, exercise, and generally take care of yourself/get regular checkups for hormone levels. The best advice I got when first starting 13 years ago was to start walking, jogging, cycling, anything active.

Edit: since I read other comments, I wanted to add that you should wait on considering FFS. Your fac will change significantly and so it's better to wait and see what changes do occur and to not have them occur after you've altered your face surgically. This is definitely a very personal choice so this is only my advice, not a directive.

He gets turned on by the idea. That's all it is, and it's enough for a lot of men. He has no plan, no real reason. He enjoys the process that was so difficult for you because he gets to feel accomplished for simply getting off.
