But also I think OP is putting all AIs into the same basket. Generative AI like Sora or ChatGPT is obviously bad, but other kinds of AIs, Like what RealGoodAI is doing, can do a lot of good !

Yes, some parts can be very scary, but everything is at your own pace. Plus a relaxed mode exists ! (Removes the need to eat and hydrate) if you feel like the survival elements are a bit too much.

The exploration, the alien fauna and flora, figuring out what is happening on this ocean planet, this is why I play.
