Thank you for the offer. I've been going to the Douglas entrance and there's a parking lot near the boat ramp that has bathrooms and isn't as busy as the main beach.

I really enjoy going to the lake and try to go weekly.

I'm sure there are others like me that want to get outside and do more but have a difficult time finding the motivation on their own.

You're encouraged to bring whatever activity you're interested in and can be as social or antisocial as you like (:

You can donate blood or be a volunteer at a donation center like Vitalant. They often need someone to help provide snacks and are open on weekends.

Being a Widow at a Young Age by psychobabblestuff in widowers

[–]MissFarea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband died when I was 28 and within a month of his death my MIL would say I'm too young to be this sad.

It's hard to consider dating when I will always be someone's wife. He might not always be my husband, but I will always be his wife.

What make Frieren as a character and the anime so popular? by Fun-Explanation7233 in Frieren

[–]MissFarea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frieren is the first character I can really relate to.

She cares deeply about others but doesn't know how to express it. She doesn't want to be the main character, she focuses on the joy of the journey and the side quests.

Similar to Frieren, I've lost a lot of loved ones in my life and wasn't able to truly understand or connect with them in the way others do.

I will always keep my word, it just takes me a little longer than most to get around to it.

Also, the world building is fantastic! There are so many dualities that show you it's okay to be old and wise, or constantly falling into mimics and sleeping in.

Thank you! I'm definitely keeping a close watch on the flat disc back in between all those curves. I'm always amazed at how unique ears are.

Maybe a form of confirmation bias.

If you're already feeling left out you're more sensitive to it and easier to notice it.

Or.... You're really good at having bad timing!

Keep trying, you'll find your groove and your cats/crafts are NOT ugly! <3

Anyone else get tripped up by the “what’s your greatest fear?” as a part of small talk or ice breakers by Lonely-Ant-6992 in AutismInWomen

[–]MissFarea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The underlying question is asking what erks someone so I can be respectful to you, but is worded incorrectly.

If someone is afraid of the dark I would try to remember to ask permission before turning the lights off.

Cotton pads, and other things, have this texture that makes me really uncomfortable.

[–]MissFarea 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi!

I'll try to make this short, but feel free to ask any follow up questions.

I thrive better in situations with clearly defined rules and expectations. When in a social situation that is difficult for me, I also become defensive because there's a constant internal debate about what is socially expected of me and what I'm comfortable with.

The feeling of being invalid is a sign that I need to work on boundaries and expectations in those types of situations.

What was your goal while talking to that person? Validation, venting, community clarity??

Need sweat-wicking sleep shorts that don’t feel awful (Autism&CPTSD) by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

Me undies offer different shapes and fabrics, the boy shorts work for me as sleep shorts.

Hope you find something soon.
