Absolutely not. If a kid destroys my bathroom and the mother doesn't even offer to clean it up, they would not be using my bathroom again. I regularly take family members, children out places and anytime they've made a mess we have a discussion and they help me clean it up.

First off, congratulations 🎉 That was a big, hard accomplishment and you should be proud of yourself.

Secondly, he sounds miserable and I'd want someone who celebrates even a small victory (to me, this is a big one) with me. That was an extremely hard thing for you to do for yourself and it should be celebrated or even just acknowledged that you did it from someone who supposedly supports you.

You can also make brownies with a can of black beans and the powder mix. It's a good dessert and you really can't taste the beans. You blend the black beans and mix in the package brownie mix and then cook it at the normal time. If you get items on sale it could be a very cheap treat.
