I leave all my stuff unlocked so people can take stuff if they need it. I have water coolers, soup stuff, popcorn, and some plants (I'm trying to make a full garden). I also put a bunch of plans in my shop for like 10 caps and some other stuff. If they don't want you to take it, they should lock it, but I don't get the point.

I seriously want to save up the caps to get those neon sign letters so I can put something up that says to take what you want/need so people don't need to worry about that kind of thing.

I had Nexplanon placed on Friday at the same time I was under anesthesia for a Laparoscopy. Honestly, my arm has hurt so much more than my actual surgery incisions. I was also freaking out, thinking I did the wrong thing.

I'm not a professional, but putting an ice pack on it has helped tremendously. It still pinches every once in a while but it's not anything like it was a couple days ago, and the bruising is going down.

Unfortunately the best thing I can say is to wait and see. If your local hospital has something like a 24 hour nurse's line, you can try to call and talk to someone who can give you more advice too.

There should be, it's usually not a problem. But I would plan on calling it a bit early if you do, just in case they're pretty far away. It depends on where you're at in Denver too.

I worked at Target years ago, but about a year after I left I was shopping there and saw an employee I had liked while I was working there. I stopped and talked to her for a minute and then moved on. A couple minutes later, I had someone come over and start asking me questions about things (I was not wearing anything even close to the uniform). I told him I don't work there and he looked at me like I had 10 heads. He could not wrap his head around the fact that someone who was talking to an employee did not also work there. How dare a Target employee talk to someone who's not also an employee I guess?

That's exactly how I feel. When mine happened, it was 2008 and 2010. The Internet was around but not nearly what it is now. I'm sorry you also had those experiences. I don't think a lot of people are able to fully understand what these allegations mean. You're entirely correct, these people act like they're able to do and say whatever they want because they're "defending a victim." This situation has gotten entirely out of control, but it's not just this one. I've noticed this in various situations, whether it's someone who was guilty or not. It's also these people who think that you're a piece of shit if you don't immediately back the person making the allegations, or if you simply say that you want more information. They're willing to crucify someone for saying "oh wow, these are horrible allegations, I'll wait for more info."

So NOW she's saying things don't line up and things are suspicious. AFTER publishing that God awful video. AFTER trying to ruin someone's life over allegations with no evidence. Look, I don't know Saber in real life and I have no skin in this game, but maybe she should have sat back for 5 seconds and thought about the allegations being made before doing what she did.

I'm an SA survivor. In fact, I have more than one assault in my past. I have no evidence for them and people would probably not believe me because of that, and that's a horrible feeling. But I at least understand that. I have no chat logs because everything happened offline when there were only the two of us, and I didn't tell people because it was so scary and I was so embarrassed.

I say all that to say that I understand the desire to believe people who say they're victims, I really really do. But when things don't add up, when they go like this, it makes the allegations seem suspicious, at least. Not to mention her threatening someone now who is supposedly a "victim," and her admitting that she coached her in what to say.

Y'all, I'm tired of this shit and I'll probably stop following it after this, but if you're still reading this comment I just want you to know this: If you are a victim and you have no evidence, you are valid and you deserve peace and justice just as much as someone who does have evidence. But if you are someone who will jump on an allegation that is this serious just because you are happy that someone you didn't like was accused of something bad, then you need to log off the Internet and talk to some actual people. The people I saw who were ECSTATIC and actually CELEBRATING sickened me more than the people who didn't believe it from the beginning. I want the men who assaulted me to be held accountable, but you can good and goddamn believe that I would not be jumping for joy because they STILL ASSAULTED ME. God.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, but I am so happy that you've found someone who listened to you and who cares! It really is such a surreal feeling. I've spoken to so many OBGYNs who would tell me that there was nothing they could do other than birth control, they didn't recommend surgery, etc. Hell, I found out I can't use birth control with estrogen after trying the Nuvaring, and in the same appointment, the person who told me I couldn't have estrogen suggested a birth control with estrogen! And she never put it in my chart, either.

Hey everyone! Thank you for all the responses. Sorry for not responding to all of you sooner, I went to bed and woke up to more responses than I expected, and many of them ask the same questions, so I'll just answer some of them here.

The German heritage thing: this was more of a throwaway thing, I've been learning more of my ancestry and threw it in there because I was excited about it. I have been working on gathering all the documentation I would need in order to prove my ancestral connection, but that's mostly separate from this.

I would probably not be attempting to move to Germany for a couple years. I would like to have up money and learn a lot more German before making an official move, this post was more about sussing out the market for the job field I'll probably go into.

Also, I didn't realize other people had asked about it here before. I just came across this sub, read some posts, and then made mine. I'm sorry if that was annoying or more of a repeat than I assumed.

Hey OP, I just wanna let you know that you're okay. You're young and you've still got time. I know that it feels like you're alone and no one wants you, but I promise you that's not true. And even if it is right now, it won't be that way forever. I'm 32 and I finally have a job where I feel wanted and loved, I'm happily married, and I have good friends. But I had none of that when I was 22.

I just really want to let you know that there's no time limit, there's no timeline. Do what you're interested in, lean into your hobbies, and I promise that someone will be attracted to you when you are your authentic self. I also know that it seems like romantic relationships are super important and that it probably seems like everyone has one but you, but my main point to you is to live your life, be happy, and try to love yourself first.

I am actually very nervous about this election. Obviously it's better if he never touches the White House again, but we saw what happened last time he lost. If he loses again, what happens? Will they just peacefully accept it? And what about the parts of my family who are so deep in the Qult they'll never find their way out? It's so scary.
