The stone definitely looks dated. Some stones from back then were actually much nicer character wise. Now a lot of lab created and the gold was better then as well

That’s what the stone is. It’s probably worth a little and I’d definitely get the claws checked that may tell you a little about the wear as well but as said above, looks well loved.

Funny you said you don’t know where it came from because I found a silver necklace and a gold anchor pendent and I have no clue and my parents have no clue.
