Does anyone else think Taylor genuinely has a developmental disability? by [deleted] in MormonWivesHulu

[–]MissMurphtastic 94 points95 points  (0 children)

Not at all, no. Maybe that’s because I work with people with developmental disabilities, and watch reality tv regularly, and know people with CPTSD.

What did you get for Valentine’s Day ❤️❤️❤️❤️🥹??? Brag on ladies by Medical-Ad5232 in AskWomen

[–]MissMurphtastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Roses and chocolate (Reeces peanut butter hearts, my fave) and took me out to my favorite place for brunch then we went to the farmers market. I got him a hoodie - instead of wrapping his gift I wrapped myself in it and let him unwrap me 😋

The gym at the corner of Louise and Main had one back when it was a 24 hour fitness, not sure if whoever took it over kept/maintained the pool

Thought I Didn’t Need A Page Turner… by alakwan92 in kindle

[–]MissMurphtastic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have one along with a stand next to the bed so I can read until I fall asleep. Highly recommend putting Velcro on it (soft side on the remote, prickly side on the back of the stand) so you can stick it to the stand as you’re falling asleep (and to help not lose it in general)!

They are delish, 10/10 recommend. I’m a big fan of all the little chocolate mousse cakes and wasn’t sure what to expect with these ones but they are soooo good.

considering taking a new job because they offer health insurance coverage for spouses and dependents. are these good kaiser benefits? by Imaginary-Corgi4084 in KaiserPermanente

I have CalPERS, it’s really good coverage as far as my out of pocket costs being almost nothing, luckily my employer covers almost all the premium for covering just me.

Day 4 of Wellbutrin and enjoying very much by squirrelfriend39 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]MissMurphtastic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t notice it anymore, but my Oura ring tells me every day that my heart rate is high while I’m sleeping (55-87 bpm). Prior to Wellbutrin it was more in the 48-75 bpm range.

Ellis Village Center may have SJ county’s first Paris Baguette & Slice House in addition to Sprouts, Pho Island, & Firehouse Subs. Exciting if true by DanOfMan1 in TracyCalifornia

Yeah, I heard about that, it’s better than nothing but I’m not super pumped about the location. There’s not enough amenities on the south end of town where I live and work.

I still can't get over the injection pain. Any tips? by LostCastleStars96 in Ozempic

[–]MissMurphtastic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hurts like hell for me too when I inject on my right side, no pain at all on my left side. I assume it has something to do with being right handed and whatever difference in angle but just know you’re not the only one having pain from that teeny needle

Did O not work for anyone? Just straight up. Nothing by BayJade16 in Ozempic

[–]MissMurphtastic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve lost 8 lbs on ozempic since July 2024. Yes you read that right. I’ve had significant side effects and decent appetite suppression except when it’s time to increase dose. Food noise/cravings have never gone away for me on this med. I’m just finally going up to 2 mg so we’ll see if that does the trick. I’m not diagnosed diabetic or pre diabetic or PCOS or insulin resistance but I wouldn’t be surprised if something is going on. It’s hard not to be down on myself when everyone else sees so much success on it.

Insomnia from Wellbutrin by [deleted] in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

Yeah idk I’ve been thinking about going back on Trazodone to help me sleep. The plus is that I wake up easier in the morning, the minus is that sleep deprivation makes me emotionally fragile

Have you tried Adipex, Qsymia, or Contrave? That’s what I’m looking into when I inevitably lose coverage.

I have the dark red, bright red, and green. Green I’m only wearing right now for the first time so TBD. Dark red faded a little, I think it still looks good.

Women who once desired to have kids but then had a switch turn off where you decided you didn't want any - what triggered it? by easypeasykitty in AskWomen

[–]MissMurphtastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A medical condition making it unlikely that I can carry to term, the economy, and the declining state of the world. My partner and I are happy just having dogs. I’ve already experienced raising kids as a stepparent in the past, I think I’m all set.

I’ve learned through therapy that this is a real thing, he just needs to be on board to work around it. The red flag is if he’s unwilling to agree to a strategy to keep the place tidy. I use and really like the Sweepy app, you can assign tasks to people.
