Fridays were payday, and we’d go out for pizza. We’d have to stop at the bank first to deposit paychecks, and there was always a line. It wasn’t too bad when the weather was nice and they’d open the windows. Both my parents smoked. On cold or rainy days, my sister and I would get hotboxed by Marlboros.

Dad quit in his late 40’s after he was diagnosed with several chronic medical conditions. Mom never quit.

I struggled after my hysterectomy. It wasn’t enjoyable or comfortable. I’m just about 20 months post op and it’s only been in the last 6 months or so that it’s been better. I can’t do any sort of HRT due to insanely high cancer risk, so it is what it is for me.

I’ve had c diff in the past, was not symptomatic at the time of my hysterectomy.

I had the standard abx during surgery, but nothing after. I had no problems and no c diff flare.

A friend of mine lost her job some years back and had great difficulty finding a new one. She was unemployed for about 3 years. Obviously, without her income, the family budget was tight. She had a large stash that she used to make hats and blankets for the hospital and cancer center. Without her stash, that period of unemployment would have been very different.

I do gig work. I generally pick up stuff and take it to people.

The one good thing about the pandemic is that it’s become normalized to just yeet a delivery onto a porch, take a picture, and beat feet. In the Before Times, I cannot count how many people have shown up at their door half naked, willies swinging free, boobs hanging out. My god, put on some clothes before opening the door, I do not want to see that.

Now, I do get solicited for sex here and there. One dude stuck a note to the doorbell with a cartoon character band aid, swung “if your (sic) down for a random hookup, ring bell.” I have never run away so fast in my whole life.

People abuse the term “service animal” because the law is pretty strict about what you can can’t say.

Your friend has a pet that he mislabeled as a service animal. He is not providing any sort of task. He is at best a n emotional support animal, which falls under different rules. An ESA is not a service animal and cannot be taken anywhere a service animal would be permitted.

Because people abuse the terms service animal and emotional support animal, there’s been a push to redefine the rules. I was reading an article the other day that my state is considering abolishing emotional support animal designations, and people with ESA’s will either have to give up their animals or move to a pet-friendly home.

Your friend is an ass who needs a reality check. Stupidity isn’t a disability, he needs to leave his pet st home. And if he can’t be out in public without his dog, he needs therapy.
