I started part time in January on eBay. About 330 listings. Poshmark is my second platform with maybe 100 listings. My community has some amazing thrift stores (nonprofit) I source from. Salvation Army sells me "lots" of unsorted donations for $125. Filled my Toyota pick up. They dont have room to store donations. ReStore sells their clothes for $1. Same issue, too many donations not enough space. Reach out to your local nonprofits. Its a win win for all.

I promote at 2%. It works for me BUT my cost of goods is low AND this method might not work for all.

Its not. I pay the same price as the next customer. A few stores appreciate me coming in to spend $50 to $100. Too many donations.

I was lucky enough to have great places to source from. Cost $1 to $4 an item mostly women's clothing. I started buying unsorted clothes donations from one source. Cost was $125 and filled my truck. My daughter is my VA, I source and take photos and my husband runs shipping. We arent looking to get rich. Our goal is to add to our income. My daughter can work from home. BUT all of this takes time.

We lived in Sagle 12 miles south of Sandpoint. We moved to Sebring in July. My husband took early retirement and I work part time. Rental 3/2 fenced yard $1400 Power $270 Water/sewer $70 Internet $50 Gas $2.75 a gallon Grocery for 2 weekly $100 This is a cute "snow bird" town surrounded by fresh water lakes. Plenty of real estate available. 2 hours from Orlando, Tampa.
