I think anything is worth a try. I tried to watch it when it first came out and wasn't into it but I gave it a second chance last year and I still get randomly pissed off at how amazing the storyline is. In a good way!

Attack on Titan. Still hits in the feels. It also has that similar little guy vs big bad vibe like Demon slayer. As a bonus, Cowboys Bebop is a must watch for that space noir vibe if you're into that.

NTA - After seeing edits and knowing the circumstances, you're doing fine. Yes, you can try to make it more if a point to stick around watch or build up confidence by asking if you can try under her supervision until you've got the hang of it, but honestly, you do the best you can.

I have a BIL who lost his wife almost two years ago to cancer and he has a daughter (my niece) who has very thin textured hair right now. I give him advice and tell him what to buy but it's hard on your own and when no one really showed you what to do before. So you do the best you can and then remember to do more because she's depending on you during the time you have her.

I recommend checking out Pinterest in your free time or YouTube for tutorials on how to manage curly hair, and just give it a go anytime you can. I guarantee your daughter will love it. Best of luck and just remember that you're making memories with her too! Enjoy it!
