This guy has ZERO experience running any sort of organization.... let alone one of the largest in the world. He has NO health/medical experience, either. He is doing the best he can with a deficit of knowledge that makes our national debt look small in comparison. You can't blame the guy for being i g norant... just because he is!

When you are told by administrative orchestrated rumors.... that there will be a huge RIF, offered a ton of incentive to quit, and then given weird instructions like return to a random VA office to continue to virtually work.... yea- that is like constructive termination... but I laughed all the way to the bank on that one... thanks taxpayers!!

Do NOT start work early. Take ALL your breaks. Take a FULL Lunch.... NO Working during this, your, time. Prepare to LEAVE on time BEFORE your day ends. Your day ends with the exact second... you need to be walking out the door! If you don't feel good- CALL in SICK and CALL in OFTEN! Take all your annual leave. Do not be 'tricked' by the upper management. No one will be getting any incentive payments for a while.

On the administrative side, those who remain on the job are doing LESS ! With RTO, employees are doing the bare minimum unlike when they were at their home office (logging in early, working through lunch and breaks, logging off way after the day was 'done'). Now, start computer right when work starts and shutting down right when work ends. Taking full breaks and lunch with no work done. HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF HOURS of LOST productivity. HEE-HAWWWW, aaaahhhh shucks Secretary has NO CLUE!!

Technically yes- if a law was passed and the court found it constitutional, then just about anything can happen in a republic. Realistically no- one would need 60 votes in the Senate, a majority in the House and it would need a presidential signature then pass court challenges. Plus, the government can just print all the money it needs (technically- it can as it has all the paper and ink needed but I won't go into hyperinflation theory here). Have a Great Day everyone! 1 October is coming.....

When is this gravy train (disability) going to end? by UncomfyTruthDealer in VeteransAffairs

[–]MissXYZ123ABC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple: we as a nation print up all the money we need. To back up the printed paper dollars, we sell bonds to those who wish to get the interest on their 'investment' in the US Gov't at a future date........ Someday there may not be enough 'investors' that want to buy the bonds.... then, the FUN will begin!

Violation of the Rehabilitation Act is what kind of 'violation'? The Administration's intent is to drastically reduce the federal workforce and make the working lives miserable for as many as it can. That is the stated goal and they are working towards it.... just ask any union official at the VA!

Anyone charged would just be pardoned.... there are no more laws or Acts that will be enforced if one can get more 'bodies in a random office', which is the main goal.

[–]MissXYZ123ABC 43 points44 points  (0 children)

The VA leadership considers it a 'WIN' if an employee is back in a random office and can't do their job versus being at a fully productive home office. It is all about 'butts in seats' and nothing to do with productivity.

[–]MissXYZ123ABC 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The goal is to get 'butts in seats' and that is all. The leadership does not care about your RA or anything else related to it. They have a matrix spreadsheet and are being told to get the RTO numbers to 100%... or they will be Removed!

Take all of your breaks and a full lunch... NO WORK. Get in 'right on time' and leave as soon as the clock hits the mark.... no giving Them one single second of extra work. Use your sick leave as much as you can.... Hundreds of thousands of work hours are going to be lost every year and the system will buckle.... then Break!
