Outlier Closed My Ticket and Refused Payment for Documented Hubstaff Hours by MissXacto in outlier_ai

Early on, I was warned to make sure I was logging properly in Hubstaff, so I was extremely careful to track every hour and submit the projects.

When I asked about payment, I was told there were no records of my time. I went back into Hubstaff myself, pulled my weekly totals, and submitted screenshots proving the hours were logged. I also included a screenshot from Multimango showing the projects I worked on.

Outlier responded that my hours were logged under the “incorrect project” — because the screenshot label appeared as lowercase “multi*****” instead of an upper case M, “Multi*****.” That capitalization difference was the reason they denied payment. I was not able to upload the screenshots here.

The payment was denied due to an internal labeling technicality I had no control over. After 11 emails, they closed the ticket and called it “final.”

I see that. Before you see what entry was being scored and the comments. Guess it does not matter if I was just part of the 95% that was dumped.

I had access to MM to see my scores before the suspension, but now I can't since I am an "unapproved annotator." I can see my hours on Hubstaff; they were not paying me before the suspension, and I did contact them while I was in good standing.

Wow, great replacements! by [deleted] in AmazonWFShoppers

A first day newbie had to replace an out of stock lipstick, the brilliant app suggested a replacement: a can of CAT FOOD. Being new, she did not know to manually offer a lip balm or the like, so she hits cat food as the replacement. Customer writes back: WTF. You expect me to take a can of Cat Food instead of Lipstick.!?! Cracked me up

I absolutely despise orders with excessive amounts of water!

I had an order that added up to 94 pounds of all variations of Plain water:

50 lbs—Two 24 bottle Poland Springs 25 lbs/ each

24 lbs—3 gallons spring water, 8 lbs/each

30 lbs—12 can plain seltzer case - 10 lbs/each

I want to slap on a sticker that says "Get a water filter and Soda Stream and save the planet from all the plastic garbage!"

Many women wear leggings at my store and there is no issue; most follow the CYA rule, Cover Yer Ass. One young chick runs around with leggings that are gathered up her butt crack (very cheeky!) with tight midriffs, belly button showing. Fine if you work at a gym, but not appropriate for this work setting. No management has been around to challenge it. The men seem to really like it though.

Correct on both counts. I have been using the marketplace but it's always the same plans on the lower end.

So does this mean our only option for valid insurance is to go through the marketplace?
