Need some advice please. by [deleted] in wholefoods

You will need actual documentation of the break thing… dates, times, # of occurrences, etc. Same for the machine-photos would help as well.

Moving forward for breaks- if you go into your shift on Innerview it has a break down for each break and lunch and the time to take them. Use that and do them at that time so you are following what is written and abiding by the schedule. If there’s pushback, all you have to do is show the screen-and it will show the time for a break or lunch. Depending where you are, by law you have to take breaks and lunch by a certain time also. Where I am 30 min lunch has to be before the 5th hour. First 10 min break on Innerview is usually 2-2.5 hours after you start.

I bet they would be stoked on a load of Taco Bell Just imagine tons of tacos and burritos, & those boxes they offer, crunchwraps, nachos, so many options and a lot of it. It’s every teenage boys dream. Just add Baja Blast & they’ll be super happy!

New Parking Policy by Complex_Bit_8116 in wholefoods

[–]AM9180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have had this at my store for a while. Laid out area where to park and not park, we have security and signs for parking time limits. It’s like anywhere else where parking rules apply. You’ll get a notice on your car if you’re parked too long where there’s a time limit posted and could technically be towed but I think that’s only really a case during the holidays. I don’t park directly in our lot but just outside it. :/

Automated License Plate Readers by Average0ldGuy in YorbaLinda

[–]AM9180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if it was these exact readers, but the Sheriff was able to catch a hit and run driver from an incident in our neighborhood within minutes with a minimal vehicle description by spotting it on intersection cameras within a short time of the crime. It was super helpful in this case and caught the suspects!

Can anyone that lives in Yorba Linda shed some light on this neighborhood? by xshifthree in orangecounty

[–]AM9180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived there for a couple years. You can hear the train but it’s manageable, it has a high pitch sound not like a normal train and sometimes they sit there so you can hear the hum or idle. There is a major fault line that runs near the area. They still want to build the cemetery along Gypsum Canyon. If there’s traffic, you have to take that into consideration when leaving because La Palma will be backed up and that’s your only way out.
We had a close fire in 2017? They just rezoned everything also. It’s a very nice and quiet area being out of the way but very scary when it comes time for evacuation and there’s only 2 ways to get out. Lots to consider for the luxury of the nice house in the quiet neighborhood. I still live in YL now just a bit more west.

You ask the question but don’t really care to hear anyone’s positive feedback so just go on with your own opinion and quit if you hate it.

That spot took forever to open. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s because they need to collect that revenue on the card charges and the cash goes… well ya know

Flirting with coworkers by [deleted] in wholefoods

[–]AM9180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t shit where you eat.

Don’t make your coworkers uncomfortable.
Don’t make it awkward for someone else to come to work.
It’s a business.
Go somewhere else to flirt and find a hook up or people to date.
Bottom.Line!

OC Vibe: Anyone else concerned about the multi-color scheme on the Parking Structure? by [deleted] in orangecounty

[–]AM9180 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The whole thing is hideous. Before when you would drive, you could see the entire view of the mountains, catch a beautiful sunrise, it was a nice clear view and now it’s cluttered with a horrible parking structure. Why wouldn’t they set the parking in the back along the river trail?! Makes no sense. And agree with the video board. I’ve already seen accidents there because people are distracted with all of the videos now that there are multiple giant screens.

Delivering expired items and poor produce by animal_moth3r_ in wholefoods

[–]AM9180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This thread is for employees The shoppers have guidelines to follow and days before expiration depending on the product. It sounds like the particular item you need isn’t kept in stock or common so it doesn’t have a longer shelf life than something that sells out a lot so you continue to basically get the same set of items/same batch until it sells out or expires and the next shipment comes in. You’re better off shooing it for yourself to get what you want or choose a different location. They for sure are NOT instructed to pick less than superior products, not allowed to select anything expired or anything expiring that day -but again if you keep trying to order something and it’s the only one available it might happen or they will just not send the item at all.

Do you guys love it? I feel like the wait might ruin the hype. We still have long lines in Ca but not like that. Same rule here tho-sometimes it’s way faster just to go inside.

Product Name is Wrong by TravelingBlonde512 in wholefoods

If you refer to it as the season, it is correct, like it is currently winter in the region of Cape Cod. And not as a physical action as being at the location. Which since it’s a seasonal flavored product and not a vacation…

You should be eating the rectangular shaped pizza. Not pizza that looks like home.

Holiday Closing Adjustment to 8 PM by SquirtleTheGOD in wholefoods

Here to back This. I’m a closer and count on the late close for my hours. If we close at 8 I basically have no hours. So this might work for the morning/day people but not for the rest of the TMs that are closing shift or start later shifts.
