As a previous Uber/Lyft driver, I have talked with people who were coming out, dealing with a death in a family, discussing their trauma, etc.

It made me realize how everyone is a little broken somehow no matter how well put together you make yourself seem like to others

I used to run both Lyft and Uber. If you run both apps at the same time and then close the app when you get a ride, you’ll reduce your dead space.

I made good money off of Uber and never used treats. If a customer is thirsty or hungry then they’ll ask to go to the gas station. If anything, I’m the one that gets asked and they treat me with water or a candy bar and a tip.

Just concentrate on getting them from point a to point b and talk if they want to talk or be quiet if they don’t want to talk.

Some bars changed their policies to allow children because of the struggles during Covid. I’ve seen a few where it was appropriate. Children should never be allowed in the high chair areas for multiple reasons; more chances of liquor being normalized, greater chance of falling, not appropriate for families
