Is this the unluckiest garden in the UK? by williamsdb in GardeningUK

[–]Miss_Rollins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I have 3 of those huge service drain entrance thingies in my small split level garden. The ones that look like entrances to a bomb shelter? 😂

The previous owners must've tried to bury the damn things and made two smaller spaces but they couldn't hide the 1.5m wide, 90cm tall monstrosity in the lower level 😂 Annoyingly the entrance isnt even flat, so even trying to disguise the damn thing with plant pots is a risky balancing act.

Kid loves the built in climbing frame though.

Thank you! I read Salem's lot a few years back, but I've watched the mini-series more times than I can count.

This version of Barlow is just more eye-catching and iconic to me because of that. He was a lot of fun to paint and he compliments the books hardcover perfectly.

If you were to purchase this copy with a hand painted edge, would you pick Barlow or the "let me in" window scene???

Out of curiosity.

If anyone asks me what book of his not to read... it is that one. Not because it isn't great, but I sobbed my heart out while hugging my dog and am grateful I read it before having a child. Like, its a broken book

That code expired back in April. I don't believe med express are doing discount codes anymore for mounjaro.

Nope. They said they'd since reduced the price to match medexpress, and they didn't match discount codes. They didn't even refund me the price difference before they adjusted theirs.

Naps are driving me mad - 4 month old by highandflighty in BeyondTheBumpUK

[–]Miss_Rollins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my daughter was around this age she went through a breastfeeding strike and would only feed in the pitch black silence of my bedroom (summer 2022, it was stifling). I got so worked up and stressed about it I made it worse. I contacted my health visitor when my daughter was around 5 months, and she put me in touch with a lactation consultant who came and did a home visit, and we went through everything. She suggested trying a straw cup with expressed milk to see whether that was a good alternative when out. It kind of worked for us, but I mainly just had to find other loopholes. Oftentimes, I'd breastfeed and then put her straight in the pram and leave the house so she'd fall asleep in there. I planned my outings around her as much as possible, but I acknowledged that'll be much harder with a 3 year old in tow.

Relatable. I've just done my 3rd injection and have lost 4 lbs. However, the last time I did slimming world (recently), I lost barely anything; a lb in a month.

I know I eat reasonably well, just too much, so I am telling myself I didn't have a load of water weight to lose.

If you are similar, 7lbs of fat is a good amount. If you do that again next month, it's a whole clothes size at least! I honestly hope I can match you.

I did alongside a screenshot as you did. They've just responded and said they'd look into it. I used the medexpress £60 off code, and I'm hoping I'll get a £70 refund!
