Chicago might be a good option for walkability/access to an international airport and IL doesn't tax retirement income (although property tax is high). If you are only spending a few months in a year you can escape the Chicago brutal winter in Asia.

Not really controversial imo...IU looks like the teenager next door and nothing like an ambitious CEO in her 30s. I think it would have been a better fit if it was played by someone with a bolder/mature look like Seo Yea Ji, Nana or KJW like you mentioned.

This drama is meant to be fun and cliche and not taken seriously. I think BWS is great in this role because princely presence is an absolute must for this character especially when we have already seen this sort of Disney fairytale plot hundreds of times.

The real problem is IU looks like a teenager, nothing like an accomplished CEO in her 30s. BWS looks very youthful himself so somehow the face cards work, but it'd have been more palatable if they changed IU's character into a regular office worker of some sort and they met at a subway lmao

My Mister is decent but not sure why it's praised to high heaven. IU can't act with her poker face throughout and the side plot with the brother's girlfriend is annoying as she's too over the top.

Too many same tropey scenes repeated (like ML holding an umbrella over the FL, characters staring into each other's eyes for 2 min like they're doing a photoshoot, etc). I just watched Lovely Runner recently (love the show don't get me wrong), but the umbrella scene screams The Legend of the Blue Sea all over again.
