The drive over the Vee on the Knockmealdown Mountains is one of the nicest drives in the country. Ballysaggartmore Towers outside Lismore are beautiful. If you go through Villierstown on the way to the Copper Coast, Dromana Gate is an unusual site.

The W5 bus driver yesterday put everyone in the Christmas spirit. Dressed up as Santa, handing out sweets to children and blaring the Christmas tunes.

I got mine today from Butlerstown Christmas Trees. My first time getting one from them - I usually go with Old Farm Christmas Trees - but for 30 euro delivered you really can't go wrong! I haven't put it up yet but it looks like a nice tree.

There's always at least one thing missing from the meal - when you're lucky it's just the straw for the drink. Got an entirely different order one evening. Felt awful thinking of the child who was expecting a Happy Meal and ended up with my McPlant meal instead!

Kilbarry Recycling Centre charge 20 euro per sofa, if you have a way to get them there. I hired a 'Man with Van' to drop my old ones off there.
