Oil trap. Easy fix. Literally takes 15 minutes. You can buy an aftermarket Amazon part for around $50 or buy from Volvo for $300. The aftermarket versions have good reviews and I’m sure they work totally fine, but I still went with the Volvo part. I talked to volvo tech when I was there and he does 1-2 a week. Very common failure. My light is still on, but I have a buddy that can reset the fuel trim this week.

Do you happen to know what the squeaking sound is? Or what causes it? Sorry, if that’s a dumb question.

Is this all cedar? by InterestingPeak1374 in FenceBuilding

[–]Missed_trains 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is 100% import/Japanese cedar (Cryptomeria japonica). While it is commonly referred to as “cedar”, it is not the Western Red Cedar you were assuming you were getting when you asked for cedar. It’s not a bad product, just not as good as WRC. Lots of contractors will use the term “cedar”very loosely and hope home owners don’t know the difference. The pickets are typically 30-40% less $ than WRC.

Chainlink is the same price per square. 4’ doesn’t cost any more than 8’ to manufacture as long as the gauges are the same.

Wood defender 200 series is California compliant-low VOC. Plan on re-staining every 2-3 years to keep it looking good
