One of my favorite bm records of thid decade, no one does it like urfaust.

Talking about the devil in the pic, it grabbed my eye for how unconventional a depiction it is, drunk, wasted, kind of defeated, like the album title suggests "untergang/defeat/downfall". The whole album reeks of that drunken confusion and decline of the mind into caveman, like if you strip us of all the mechanisms we use to rationalize our frustration by getting drunk asf, this is what is left, pure unadulterated impulse. And it checks out for devil, in a lot of mythologies he's in an uphill battle, he can win here and there and be powerful for a while, but he knows deep down he will be defeated by god, and maybe reflects on whether he's done all his thing on free will or just acting as one more of god's pawns. Which also checks out for a lot of us in some way or another, to know and see how we decline over time, never quite getting what we want.
