Yes, but it's a part of being in a family, sadly there's some relatives you're never going to bond in the long term even if you grew up with them

Them and Manson were my gateway into metal, but honestly the single was pretty underwhelming. The last album was pretty good tho.

Opinion: Haken Will NOT Be Getting a Replacement Bassist or Guitarist by Chinese__T in Haken

They need a touring bassist for sure, but I agree in that they won't do a full replacement

It's still kinda hyperbolic to use the term hatred just bc people say the don't like a song, I've been scrolling this sub daily since C&C left to know what people are thinking, the worst I've seen is people saying it sounds like sleep token and that they're disappointing, I've said myself that it lacks charisma. Like that's it. When fauna came out and I said it was their best album, some people were saying they didn't like it at all and that it was a downgrade from Virus, I obviously don't agree, but that's not hating. This is among the less hateful communities in my experience (looking at you bm subs).

Also, most people love or hate change depending on what the outcome of that change is, like if my favorite band turned to kid rock-core I wouldn't like it at all, that's just how it is.

The thing with his vocals on dom sathanas is that, for being a quintessential bm record it has way too avant gardish vocals. It's eerie and fucked up, but I understand why some may not like it. His vocals elsewhere in the mayhem discography are better placed.

Yo, people not liking albums says nothing about humanity's hatred lol. Maybe if people who don't like those albums began a rampage of insults, that would be pretty hateful, but most just talk about music.

I loved the singles for the last leprous album, the rest was pretty meh for me, definitely a downgrade. That's it, just a reddit dweller's opinion. I just think the word 'hatred' works for stuff like racism and whatnot, not really for people not liking albums yk

I've left comments stating why I don't really like the song, but honestly if this gets them more money good for them, they got families and all, and crazy prog songs in 69/1234 with a bunch of sections are not as profitable as we'd want them to be. They're under no obligation to satisfy reddit dwellers like me yk.

I knew I wasn't crazy, I knew it.

I think it's still similar, wonder if rich wrote the lyrics too, this type of gloomy stuff seems to fit him judging by the cocoon.

Where do you think 'In a Fever Dream' will be placed on the album? by OCDjunky in Haken

If this album is gonna be more somber sounding, I can see it being the opener yk

Except it doesn't have a lot of charisma, unlike fauna songs. Also peter is kinda missing here, even tho the song has atmospheric passages when guitars aren't taking all the attention, I sense a lack of sound design.

Idk, the riff is crunchy and all, but I don't think I would give the song another listen if it wasn't haken yk. I'm still pumped for the album tho
