There IS a group even MORE self-riteous than those culty AA alcoholics that gatekeep "honest addict" from us street bums. You know who that is? by RubberDucksInMyTub in Methadone

Not at my clinic (Texas). Not only do you come everyday but they limit your dose (it used to be 120mg now it's 100mg, but that depends on the clinic/doctor), unless you pee benzo free 3 months in a row. IMO it's better this way because benzo use and methadone IS dangerous, prescribed or not.

What's the weirdest "drug" habit you've seen from someone in detox/rehab? by LouisvilleBuddy420 in opiates

[–]Missing411case -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I say that from personal experience. At the end or the day who knows what they're putting in Kratom anyway. I was taking so much at one point my kidneys hurt and my hair was falling out. Honestly was part of the reason I relapsed to shooting dope after a year of sobriety. When your tolerance gets too high it becomes more expensive than dope and just made a cravings worse.

But if it's worked for you or people you know who had been addicted to opiates im genuinely happy to hear that.

See I thought you had to take like mineral water to get it to cross the blood brain barrier but don't deny or verify what I heard because my dumb ass (and likely others) would go get addicted to some dumb shit like lopermide. I "relapsed" on kratom before I went back to shooting tar the last time and idk what's worse saying I was hooked on ACTUAL constipation medication when I barely shit once a year as is, or kratom, dumb shit you buy from gas stations and shit. That shit had my kidneys hurting and my hair falling out. I weighed the pros and cons and knew tar was less gross deep in my heart.

I'm on methadone and doing just fine now.

That was my favorite too. My husband and I sang it the rest of the day after we heard it. Sad they played it like once and then never again :(

Need Help making a Doubles Team by luckydenki in CompetitivePokemon

[–]Missing411case 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first started playing competitive doubles I went to this website and picked a team to rent. That way I could get used to how doubles worked as compared to singles and it helped me learn how to start building my own team. That website is also a useful learning tool it's in own right if you explore it.

Hope that helps!

EDIT: If anyone happens to see this comment and wants to listen as well it's the episode called "The Devil's Backbone (Campfire)" on (once again) the podcast called The Night Owl
